"The Flying Farang"

This term is applied to Westerners who fall to their deaths from tall buildings in Thailand. Most jump, but some are pushed. The ones who commit suicide apparently do so because of financial, romance or legal problems. It seems to be a rather common phenomenon there. The ones who are pushed are most probably pushed by their GF's in a bid to get full ownership of the condo.
Surprisingly, there is no "Flying Amerikano" equivalent in the Philippines. However, I have heard ( cannot confirm) of a "Flying Koreano"- these lose at a casino and then jump off a tall condo which they can no longer pay for.
