RIP Davewe - he lived his life and on his terms, at that age, nobody knows what led to his demise. It doesn't seem to be the jab and there is no suggestion of it, it is just a sad fact that when we get into our seventies that people can die of the many ailments that affect old age.

I'm sure as lousy as it must be to lose a parent before you even turn one, the kid will probably prefer this sad outcome to non-existence. As a mestizo guy with a mother whose income is significantly above the local average, he'll likely have a pretty solid life in the Philippines.

Too bad she will be a walking lottery ticket in her local town. Her extended family and other Filipinos will try to freeload and cannibalize her.
Filipinos most of them doesn't know how to save money according to Public duende.
