Filipina Pea gives a good run down of the pros and cons of dating a Filipina. She is a pretty honest and balanced. Why did you stop following her @publicduende?
I do still watch her videos, from time to time. I just said she sold herself to lighter and more "titillating" topics, like dating and sex with Filipinas, to keep thes subscriber count high and the dollars flowing.
All these video on Youtube about love/dating should be more or less considered as 'entertainment' - you cannot take such 'information' really seriously.

About Filipinas or other foreign women who are living far away from you, you have to meet them personally - get on an airplane. Expect some fun, and if something is going wrong at least enjoy your vacation.

Do not expect too much out of internet friendship. Internet is fairly good if you want to meet foreign women as a first contact as these women you cannot meet otherwise else. However it's merely a first contact and not more than that.

Also think about yourself and your future, can you really bring a girl easily to your country, or can you really move over to her country, how is your situation financially, can you work abroad? It is a BIG difference between being a tourist for a few weeks or a long-stay abroad over years. Think about it!

Well that's the thing: before she started to post all these entertaining but scarcely informative videos, she used to be the author of some of the better researched, better informed videos about the Philippines and foreigners in the Philippines.

Nothing wrong in switching to lighter contents to please a considerably wider audience of mature men daydreaming of sipping mango juice with a cute morena on their laps. It just that she ain't the same.

Many men in the US still reason in terms of the antiquated "mail order bride" idea. They think that, since the Philippines is full of poor, desperate young women whose highest desire in life is flash-marry any white man living abroad (no matter how old, how financially sound, how in shape, etc.), an Internet-only relationship started on a dating site is sufficient to 1) find a good woman and 2) keep her loyal and happy until the meet-up day arrives.

We all, we Europeans at least, know the reality...
