Anyone would be a fool to go to Russia now. If war breaks out between Russia and NATO the first thing they do is intern those who are citizens of those NATO countries. yick is a British citizen. I can only agree to your comment. Let me add, you need not really be a citizen of NATO countries, but merely from a country which is openly supportive to Ukraine and you might be arrested while in Russia - for example from Japan or Australia.

There is no guarantee after you enter Russia that you can move out again. Human life has no value in that region.

Countries like Belarus, Iran, North Korea and some others are also not safe to visit for Western citizens. Why should you really go there? For what reason?
