YegorsTV (Channel on YouTube) Thread

Post by dancilley »

Do you know about YegorsTV on YouTube? He is a native Russian who immigrated to the U.S.A. when he was 13, then he lived in southern California for about 25 years, then decided to move back to Russia a few years ago. He lives in Moscow now and says he is never going to leave. He is very happy now living there. He told his parents (who are happily still living in the U.S.A.) that he would die if he were to stay in the U.S.A. He couldn't take it. He says that it is impossible to make friends in the U.S.A. He owned real estate in southern CA and says the tenants are terrible and the process of evicting them is a nightmare or something like that. He says that he was prosecuted for recording his own phone call, and went to trial over it.

The main benefits of living in Moscow are:

- It is way easier to make friends there
- His cost of living is $350 total per month (but he bought an apartment, so has no rent...but he says an apartment is $400/mo.)
- $0.30 per loaf of high-quality bread
- All the food is fresh, great tasting, wholesome, etc.
- There are many parks, and at these parks, normal people casually relax and socialize
- The women are way better looking than in the U.S.A.
- There are no homeless people at all
- Everyone is a normal, healthy person, just going about their business in a normal way
- Medical services are free
- People are healthy and stable and normal and not as pretentious
- Beautiful summer weather
- You can buy an apartment for $30,000 (I am not sure where)
- Better, cleaner, safer, reliable, regular, etc. public transportation than in the U.S.A.

The negatives are:

- You can't criticize the government; you can't talk about the war
- You should learn martial arts "because you are going to need it."
- It is difficult to get a job, there is a lot of competition, the pay is $2-3 per hour to work in a fast food restaurant
- Brutally cold winters
- On his Russian language YouTube channel (and on Russian websites in general) there are many haters

Therefore, if you have a lot of savings, or if you can earn income remotely, you should live there.

I find Yegor (if that is his real name) fascinating, outstandingly respectable, because he is honest and values things that are good, that everyone should value. He is a sane person in an insane world.

Would one of our resident scholars, @gsjackson care to contribute on the differences between Eastern Europe and America?

He's got some other good videos :

TOP 5 INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCES between USA and Eastern Europe

but the rest of America is this car-driven, depressing, Wal Mart filled, unlivable at least for me craphole

This video is now making me seriously want to move to Russia. The food looks so fresh and healthy. I think Yegor suffers from an allergy or something like that to corn and corn-based ingredients like me. He says that he couldn't eat the food in America because he would get stomach aches. He says that now he looks healthier than he did three years ago in America. I can't eat restaurant food in America either due to corn-based ingredients. I can't eat anything that has corn or corn-based ingredients in it without reliably experiencing a massive dysfunction of my health.

I think @Winston may have some problem also with corn-based ingredients because he has said that the food in America "flares your temper." When I eat processed or fast food in America, it definitely does that to me. I have been religiously avoiding corn and corn-based ingredients for many years now, or when I do choose to eat a meal containing them, the same symptoms occur: my stomach/intestine feels uncomfortable, queasy, bloated, I get diarrhea or have a watery defecation. I feel stressed and anxious. I perceive anything stressful as more stressful than usual, and so I feel uncomfortable outdoors and want to go home and stay indoors in air-conditioning. I feel mild to moderately feverish. Overnight, I will sweat during sleep, so that I will wake up and my shirt will be damp. In the morning, I will feel tired and drowsy and feel the need to sleep more, and will sleep on and off for several hours into the late morning. I lose motivation to work toward my goals. Corn-based ingredients are toxic for me. The food in America is toxic for me. It would greatly help me if I could go to any restaurant and not have to worry about the food, and just enjoy it.

Moscow is way better than cities in the U.S.A. mainly because there are no homeless people, no one selling drugs on the street, etc. Everyone is a normal, good person seemingly. Imagine being able to go out to a restaurant and actually relax and have a good time and enjoy life. At this point, it seriously is looking more attractive to live in Russia than to live in Los Angeles, CA (where I live), or really any large city in the U.S.A.

@dancilley Dan, your channel is fantastic! Maybe you should cook your own healthy food and sell it. Dan's Health Food.
