What a stupid article. There were virtually no fat people in Mexico before NAFTA, when Mexicans ate plenty of food fried in lard and plenty of sweets made with butter and sugar. The problem isn't fried food or sweets, the problem is all the imported American poisons.

Fschmidt makes a good point. Jus tlook a tother nations and their food. I also remember Kevin Truedaeu mentioning how they put chemicals in the food to make you addicted, like excitotoxins.

Everywhere I've been in Asia has American Food chains (McDonalds, Burger King, 7-eleven, etc.). That saddens me as obesity will rise in those who indulge in that garbage...

Thailand is well on the way to becoming the fattest nation on the planet. There are kids here who weigh more than I do, and lots of them too. Never really saw that in China.

I'm not sure that Western food is to blame. There are just as many KFC's in China as there are in Thailand. From seeing what people are eating in Thailand, it's mostly fatty stuff fried in cheap palm oil. In my favourite restaurant here, all but two things on the menu are fried.

The people here are also quite lazy, and will get a motorcycle taxi to avoid a 5 minute walk.
I was Happier Abroad for a while but Covid killed that off.

Brazil is getting fatter, but it is not that bad due to the fact that things like McDonald`s,Burger King and Subway here are expensive as HELL! The minimum wage in Brazil is about $690-$700 real a month..but a big mac meal at McDonald`s can cost $21 reais easy. You can`t afford it here.I still eat it though every now and then to get my fix.
se eu soubesse o que eu sei hoje, teria mando mulheres americanas para foder-se há muitos anos.que deus abençoe o brasil!

Is the Mexican dating scene now like the US dating scene? Are the average to hot girls with down to earth personalities all taken? Are the hot girls in Mexico now stuck up like AW?

Wow! People are so obsessed with women's bodies.

But seeing it as a health problem, well, I agree with fschmidt. I don't like food from McDonalds or Burger King, but yeah, I love pizzas, really really love them, like I would marry a pizza or maybe have an open relationship with pizza and tacos (ok, that was creepy)
But I usually eat at home, I cook for myself, and even when I love tacos, and sweet bread and cake, and pizza and ice cream.. I' have never been fat... also, I try to walk as much as I can and sometimes I go to the gym... but it's not about being from a country, it's about what you eat.

a lot of fatties in Mexico but still easy to find girls there. I am not interested in them because I know them too well and I am more interested in Central and Northern European girls.

Guys I've been to Mexico a lot, and I can tell you Mexico is NOTHING like the USA in terms of dating. The further you get away from the border the skinnier they get LOL. Plus these women aren't very tall... so if they are curvy and have big tits... they technically could be overweight even though they are attractive unlike the gringas that have it all in their bellies.

Look at the Brazilians for example. A lot of the guys that go down there are into the girls with the ass, curves, tits, etc. There are some 5'7 to 5'11 girls down there that are stacked and have all kinds of gringos chasing after them.... they could weight 180lbs. So I've seen hot on both extremes from 180lb women to 88lb women. So to each his own. I can promise you that you can find all body times in Mexico. Obesity is one problem in the USA, but personalities are also undesirable to some of us AND this is why we travel south (not because we HAVE to but because we PREFER to).

I actually suggest it to most guys. Mexico is fast, easy, and cheap to get to. And the women are nicer. That matters a lot.
