People are closed off and paranoid and not interested in meeting people or making friends like they were in the 70s and early 80s. Big difference. A lot has degenerated in the US. That's my point. Regardless of what you think of America, the four problems I described at the start of the thread in my first two posts, are true for many people in the US, especially for misfits. Read them again. It doesn't matter if you think the US is great. Those four problems are very big and true for me and have affected me since the 1980s. So they are huge issues for me.
