Are you sure? Then why don't they have another Calendar that goes beyond 2012? Didn't they say that the Earth renews itself and purges itself every once in a while? Some cataclysms have happened before, so why can't they happen again?

2. When did this Mayan Calendar start? And at the start of it, is there any evidence that any global cataclysm happened?
