interesting list. obviously turkey is not happy. time for me to change the location.

south america rules though one wonders how the guys for example in el salvador are so happy. they have a lot of murder there.

notice that most happy countries are in warmer regions and like to sing and dance....

Singapore is just an example of capitalist alienation. For happiness, go to Malaysia.

Yep that's true. Healthy emotions= happiness.
To be white or black - is to not be a human, but a living definition and label. To be a slave to definition, to fashion, to the industries that market us like cattle, emptying our pockets like the udders of the cow, being paid to cut our bodies for cosmetics, benefiting off of putting harsh chemicals on our heads, making money off of us choosing to live and participate in the reality they created. Don't be "black", don't be "white", don''t be "Asian", don't be "Latin." Destroy the illusion, become human.

I have been to Costa Rica five times. My friend could not understand why I love the place. I travel with him this year to attend his brother's wedding in Playa Tamilindo. Within an hour, sitting at a beach front bar, talking to cute and friendly bartender, my friend understood why I love Costa Rica. He could feel the vibe.

Nah, just take another bus a couple hundred miles further to the north and enjoy your stay in Thailand.

I don't know but it seems like many of the FSU countries made the list for some reason. Maybe because it's always dark, cold, and grey in those countries?

Hey my country came in at no.5 Trinidad & Tobago :P

the people are happy there; we have a good standard of living, tropical weather, we're always celebrating something to make an excuse to party. It's the kind of place where you can leave work when the day is done & drive to the beach for a swim & eat the island's famous Shark fish sandwich ... yes we eat the sharks lol
We do have crime of all sorts though & corruption but even the expats get street smart

Billy I though Turkey would have been higher on the list because the people here hardly work & they survive & they're so social. Retirement age is around 40 here .... the khaves are always full of men drinking tea all day. I've never seen that anywhere else. The men are a bit hot tempered though, I've seen them arguing with eachother & road rage here is bad. I like Turkish culture but not the married life culture, ... why do the men spend so much time together in the khaves drinking tea??

Trinidad sounds like a great place! Hello Renata. It's good to see another woman on here.

Renata, turks have to pay the highest prices in the world for oil and cars because the taxes are extremely high.

there is an agreement between women and men. men have to spend their time out from the house otherwise women and men would kill each other :) because they can not get along.

turkish old school cafe´s are the only place where lazy turks can spent time on the cheap.

turks are a brutal bunch. look at their history. killing own children and brother was just common by the leaders.

also the society is very brutal just look at soccer games and honor killings.

on the outside they are very nice but don´t get fooled it´s mostly tactical. turks are always searching for allies as only then they feel strong.

their brutal religion won´t make it better.

turks are just a softer version of the mongols. so don´t expect to much.

of course they have their good sites. probably you know better as you still stay there :) for example they are not as racist as the europeans. turkey is cheap when you don´t use cars....

most turks are in deep depts. turkey is getting more economically liberal so every day life gets more expensive. women are getting more entitled as they are getting better education than men.

children are getting expensive because of higher education costs. keeping up with the jones is also very important in turkey.

also somebody have to feed the lazy guys in the cafe´s....

but in the western parts of turkey things might be slightly better.

That's insightful Billy, you obiously know them better than I do. Although I know lots of locals I guess I'm still pretty much an outsider.

Hi nice to meet you... why did you choose the username ILoveBlackAmericanWomen? Are you a black woman from the US, is that you in your avatar?

Yes I am a Black American woman and that is me in my avatar. I choose the username because I stumbled on this site by accident and I saw a lot of hate towards Black American women so I named my username ILBAW to bring positive energy towards women like me. I assume by your pic you are also a Black woman? No?

I don't get that. I mean, I get the purpose of this site, but I think they're more attractive than most other American women. Okay not all of them. Not ones who act/dress like they're backup dancers for Snoop Dogg circa '95, but that's no different than Girls Gone Wild type White women. Maybe Black American women are just seen as too stoic and people think they're cold? That's been my experience and that's why I've been attracted to them as an Asian guy I can come off the same way.

I've had shark before, but never in a sandwich. Only soup, which is a Chinese thing. I'd love to go to Trinidad for Carnival.

Oh really? I think we are very easy to talk to. We are just normal down to earth people.
