Violence: An American Tradition?

Post by zboy1 »

Watched a pretty good documentary on YouTube called "Violence: An American Tradition." It's a pretty good documentary exploring America's history of violence throughout its dark history. After reading, watching, and hearing about all the crazy stories of mass shootings, gun deaths, gang violence, and psychos pushing people of train platforms this year, I wanted to learn more about why America is so much more violent than other countries? I think this documentary helped me understand more about the culture of violence in America.
Exploration of the tradition of violence in America, drawing on the history of invading settlers and native peoples, frontier outlaws and modern-day murderers, racist violence, the urban underclass, and domestic abuse.
