This site makes me want to pull my hair out
it's so much truth, and Americans are pretty much a brainwashed army of slaves. I'm sick of having to bite my tongue so much around them. I already have a few people that hate me because I spilled a little.

Heh, I know what you mean bro. I've always felt this way ever since I was young, but only until recently, has it been okay to talk about these type of things we talk about on this forum and others. I really noticed people waking up since 9/11 and the financial recession happened, and Bush and Obama being horrible Presidents. Before that, you were called crazy and people ignored you for the most part....Mr.Darcy wrote:it's so much truth, and Americans are pretty much a brainwashed army of slaves. I have had people literally wanting to fist fight me in the U.S. for just even talking about relocation to other countries.Even my best friend in this world was against me at first..until he saw me succeed in doing so..he still skypes me every weekend to see how i am..him and my mother are the only people in the U.S. that even bother to write me most of the time.
se eu soubesse o que eu sei hoje, teria mando mulheres americanas para foder-se há muitos anos.que deus abençoe o brasil!

The biggest turning point (although still minor) was acknowledgement by the media that the Fed Reserve really does *print* money. Before that if you questioning the ponzi scheme, you were called an idiot. Now those people dont have much to say on the topic.zboy1 wrote:Heh, I know what you mean bro. A good man is above pettiness. He is better than that.
Americans:
"I like the government having electronic records of everything I do."
"I like strangers sticking their hands down my children's pants at the airport."
"I like having a microchip in my passport."
"I like being told what to think by the media that's controlled by a handful of ultra-rich people."
"I like the fact that the constitution no longer applies."
It's hard to respect people who have no respect for themselves.

Nope, it's going to get better. Here's why ... after one crosses a certain age threshold, the need to belong, meaning "doing things just to make folks around oneself happy", will start to diminish.Adama wrote:Welcome to the club. It's only going to get worse.
That's when life really begins, as you start to stop caring about so-called American society and find the things which work for you. In order to do this, cultivate activities which appeal to you and you alone, like drafting, writing stories, martial arts, qigong, archery, basketball, you-name-it. And then, always attempt to engage your hobbies, on a timely, scheduled basis. Then, you'll discover that the whims and ideas of ppl around you aren't all that special compared to your privacy time.
Also, at some point, you'll be able to make money and when this occurs, you'll have control on how you spend it.
I'm clearly a lot happier now, in my mid-30s, than I ever was in my teens and early 20s.
And yes, have a place to go out for the occasional b@ink, as in Canada, Mexico, etc. A man can't live on bread alone

Many years ago, the Best Picture of 1999, "American Beauty", telegraphed the message of Happier Abroad to the world.
Beware of long term engagements with AWs, you may find yourself in a coffin.
AB discussion thread
BTW, despite settling down with an AW, myself, the warning is still in effect.

Being angry is counterproductive. Don't be so concerned about how others feel about things.Mr.Darcy wrote:it's so much truth, and Americans are pretty much a brainwashed army of slaves. If you dislike America so much, then leave. If you can't leave right now, work towards it, but have as much fun as possible in that pursuit.
