I just watched the 1976 film "Helter Skelter" about the famous cult leader Charles Manson who ordered all those murderous rampages by his female followers, and wondering something. How did a psychopath like him get all those hot women to join his family, participate in orgies with him, and go out and kill anyone he wanted? Almost all the women in his "gang" or "family" were good looking or attractive. Yet he had hardly any money and was violent and lived a life of crime all his life.
Why are women drawn to him so much? I'll bet if he were to be released from prison today, even though he's old, tons of women would still flock to him and try to join his "gang" again. For some reason, a lot of people have some kind of fascination or admiration for him. Why is that?
How can a psychopath like him get so many American women, but we can't? This just goes to show that American women aren't after money. That's just a myth.
In the Helter Skelter film, events were shown that suggest that Manson may have had paranormal powers. He even caused the watch of his prosecuting attorney, Vince Bugliosi, to stop by just walking past him, which Vince could not explain.
What I don't understand is, why didn't Manson just live in seclusion with all his women, and have sex orgies with them, without sending them out to commit murder? Then he could have lived a life of pleasure without going to jail. Why were all those murders necessary? Didn't he value his freedom? Didn't he regret it, since in prison he can no longer be with all those women?

Both films show many attractive females that stuck to him through thick and thin and would do anything for him. How come American women aren't as fanatical about us like that? lol

i think he get´s more women than we because he is a criminal thug. the bad boy thugs get usually more women compared to their socio economic level because they risk everything to get them. so it´s no great wonder that they are more successfull.

Read the "Sinister Forces" Trilogy by Peter Levenda. He explains everything including other "occult conspiracies" associated with the American government. It's pretty deep, very heavily research laden writing, so not for the weak reader or one who can't critically think and analyze while reading. Good Stuff. You'll never look at our government the same way again after reading these books. There is info here you can't read online.

Here is what my retired mental health counselor friend told me about Charles Manson and his take on him:

You remind me a lot of me--your mind constantly puzzled by bizarre questions. First, I suggest you read the book Helter Skelter--it is full of a lot more information on Charles Manson and his "family." The guy who wrote it, Vincent Bugliosi, is a prosecutor who was Manson's actual prosecutor and he writes the book in a the manner of a prosecutor, presenting a lot of facts to make his case. He provides a lot of background history though he does not add a lot of social commentary trying to explain the Manson phenomenon in sociological or psychological terms.
Before I go on, let me add I think the last link you posted re: Manson as a dupe of the US government to end the counterculture is total horseshit. This is really stretching things and is a "Procrustean Bed" sort of argument.
My impressions are as follows: Manson was both a con artist and a charismatic guy. He also had some musical talent. I was listening to a Mark Maron podcast a few weeks ago in which some celebrity (I forget whom) who knew Manson described him as having "a lot of talent."
Manson was a career criminal who grew up, as I recall, in Indiana in a series of foster homes. He began a fairly typical criminal pattern of committing petty thefts leading to bigger thefts and he was not a very successful thief and was often caught and convicted. I believe by the time he recruited his "family" he was in his mid-thirties and had already served almost half his life in prison or jails.
Keep in mind, also, that Manson was 5' 3" tall and had to survive in hostile prison environments. His small stature caused him to have to become very cunning and he also used his considerable intelligence to manipulate people when he was in prison.
It is hard to separate Manson from the social context he was in, as well. He eventually ended up in Terminal Island and gravitated from there to the Southern California scene initially hoping to have success as a musician. He was apparently good-enough to have the support of deceased Beach Boy Dennis Wilson but being a psychopathic criminal he probably was not going to get a recording contract with a major record label.
Manson was also, as I recall, a pimp--so he knew the psychology of women and how to play them. He was a natural player, in other words, and being opportunistic he was able to take advantage of a social milieu where there were thousands of good-looking young women all experimenting with sex and drugs and seeking some meaning to life at a time of great social upheaval. Being a consummate con man, Manson saw his opportunities and took advantage of them by constructing an apocalyptic and somewhat crazy world view that played upon the needs of his followers as an explanation for the tumult of the times. He also surrounded himself with a number of "alpha" males such as Charles "Tex" Watson to do his bidding and dirty work.
In sum, Manson was a fantastic and charismatic con artist. He knew women and had a lot of personal power over impressionable young ladies. He was (is) also of above-average intelligence and was able to create a sort of doomsday scenario, often drawn from Beatle's songs and their supposed meanings, that appealed to disenfranchised youth living in the confused times of the Vietnam War, multiple assassinations, Altamont, the Chicago Democratic convention debacle of 1968 and various inner-city riots which occurred during the latter part of the 1960's. In retrospect, his world view seems preposterous but he was no fool and I'm sure he knew it would appeal to youth as an explanation for the social strife going on all around them. Manson also had a lot of anger at society based on his childhood experiences and was able to channel this anger through violence directed at those whose success he envied. There's a lot more to the story than this and plenty of books to read to fill up the big empty with more information. Just keep in mind that people have followed doomsday "soothsayers" for a very long time and Manson is just one of many charismatic people who was able to build a following and get others to do his bidding. For a similar study, read a few books on the guru of the Aum-Shinriko (sp?) cult who launched the Tokyo subway attacks in 1995. The leader was also an artist-manque' and misfit who was able to sway the best minds of Japan to join his cult, also with an apocalyptic theme. There are many such examples of less notoriety."

I could recommend books like everyone else, but that's only if you really want to read them Winston.
My take on it, however, is that a good deal of women simply don't care how a man becomes famous/powerful. Just as long as a particular man is famous/powerful, that's all that matters because that's what women are attracted to while a select few are also looking to benefit from the man somehow.
For example, think of how many women would love to have Charles Manson's baby. Sure, sounds crazy... But the woman would become semi famous herself and she could make some money by writing a tell all book about her life.

Yeah but lots of women adored Manson and was devoted to him before he was ever famous or arrested right? There's something about him that attracts women, some kind of charisma and magnetism. What is it? Plus, American women love dangerous guys too.
If I suddenly became a psycho, I don't think it would attract women to me, because I look asexual to Western women and am treated as such, so it wouldn't matter. Sucks doesn't it?

This guy makes the case based on a new 900 page book called "The Manson Files" which purports that Charles Manson was innocent and was not given a fair trial, and that Tex Watson was the real culprit that committed all those murders. What do you think?
