I have noticed most Asian celebrities don't look Asian at all compared to the people around them. lol Also most of the people in Asian cartoons don't look Asian. Why are women compelled to change their looks. Isn't better to look different and unique in modelling?

East Asian models in particular get stuff like double eyelid surgery and things of that nature to look more Western-ish of all things. E Asian men like this and the women have convinced themselves that the look is better too. All Chinese people I ask think those eyes look better... It's really f***ing sad because for one thing, I can barely tell when they have had that surgery and two, it does not really help them looks wise in the West super model arena. They lack the height and body type requirements. Koreans have gone full retard into plastic surgery. Even most Chinese do not get as much surgery as they do. . I agree with you, they are pretty the way they are because they ARE DIFFERENT from Westerners!

If you try to tell an E. Asian that their celebs/idols are not better looking with those surgeries, they will refute your opinion 9 times out of 10. If you ask them if Lisa Ling or Lucy Liu is pretty, they will laugh and say they are average for Chinese! Well.....the irony is that both of them look Western-ish!! It's useless arguing with most East Asian women sometimes on concepts of beauty, because their logic for it is just not there yet.

One way to look at it is that, in a sea of people that all look alike, even the smallest change to the way your face looks, make you better than those around you. Hence the hair color first. Then when everyone and their momma was rocking brown hair, then orange hair-brown. After that eye contacts to make eyes look bigger became popular. After that got old then plastic surgery made possible by cheap prices and steep competition, found itself as the permanent solution.

You'll have to give some examples. I still think the majority of east asian celebrities look asian. There are a few that are legit mixed race people like Karen Mok or Maggie Q. I can't think of any that transformed themselves Michael Jackson style into a faux white.

Korean actresses get lid surgery but they still look asian to me. I watch a lot of Korean movies and some of the most popular actors aren't even that attractive but they are good actors.

good luck changing your circular orbits. This is what instantly identifies asians as asian.
