They tend to be a bit corny, so you need a goofy sense of humor to appreciate them.

I recently watched Pee Mak



which had me laughing out loud.


I also enjoyed Hello Yasothorn




They also came out with parts 2 and 3, but I haven't been able to find subtitles for them.

Loads of Thai movies at http://www.seeingmole.com.

The adult movies are fun, but generally speaking Thai TV (maybe films) are the worst in the world.

I saw a Thai comedy TV show on the bus from BKK to Chiang Mai last summer. It was a sort of skit show done on stage.

It was the stupidest cornball bullshit I have ever seen.
