About me, a Not so typical American girl

Post by DanielleNguyen »

This post is strictly for someone who has been writing me asking questions about who I am and about American women. I guess I should start off by saying I am a oddball. Growing up I loved growing vegetables and helping my grandpa bring in coal from the coal shed. There was just something rewarding about hard work for me. Have you ever eaten a vegetable you had grown yourself. For some reason the taste is always better. In winter time when icecicles would be frozen to the tin roof my grandpa would break one for me and I would eat it. This doesn't sound like a typical life for a girl in the 90s but mind you my grandpa had had the house since 1920. it was warmed by a old fashioned coal burner and my grandpa was a coal miner. I really enjoyed the way I lived and was with my grandpa up until he died in 1999. I was only 8 years old at the time. To this day I kept a baby doll he gave me. He made me promise to keep it until I got married then give it to my daughter. I really want to keep that promise.

High School
High school was hell. I was the only virgin in my senior class and the only virgin when I graduated. Being a virgin really got me bullied. I never understood the concept of that.

ENTERING THE NAVY.
I joined the navy to be a master at arms. People always commented on how I was too tiny of a girl.

Now.
Now I own my own business using the skills my grandpa left me. I make handmade soaps, lotions, and dresses. My business is called Touch of heart. Go to touchof heart.net.

Hobbies
I really love writing and doing my own illustrations. I love the thought of imagination and reading books. Something most youth in America don't do now.

I also sing. Most people think I have a good voice but that is equaled by taunting from others. These are my videos. I blurred out my face from being shy.

I lived in a village house once where I did coal heating to stay warm using an oven like metal box with a huge pipe fitted to take the smoke to the chimney. A little lasts all day & it's affordable but it really polluted the air outside.

Welcome :) .. FYI we can still see your face in the thumnail pics.

Give us all massages, and then, maybe then, you'll be considered not typical.

That's why this forum exists in the first place. Most of the guys here are the "dregs" of society who couldn't be successful with women here for one reason or another. Not that I blame them necessarily, because Western women in general don't make good wives. However, due to being on the bottom of the socioeconomic totem pole these guys don't have a lot of interaction with women, and it shows.

I mean you could choose to do something about it, but most usually complain about "american women" and get hostile whenever a woman intrudes into their "space."

man, i didn't get much in the US either. I did get one sixer every now and then on me but I still didn't become like a lot of these guys. it's more than they didn't get p***y. i suspect that lots of these guys got f***ed over by close ones as well.

yes, they can all choose to do something but they choose to do nothing. it's why i dont have respect for a lot of guys here. they would rather sit around and complain like feminists do than be true men. but i do guess i got lucky in a way. i found a girl who saved my soul back in high school and made me open my eyes to everything. a lot of these guys didn't get this experience or they got it too late. if it wasn't for her, i would have probably been spiritually dead because she gave me hope the way nothing has given to me.

A lot of angry men here, but, to be honest, I don't blame them. The thing is...as you said, if you're not willing to do anything to change circumstances, there is no use complaining. ...

Going overseas is the best thing anyone can do, in my opinion. I'm far happier in Asia than I ever was in the U.S. of Gay. For some reason, Anglo societies just have a very negative effect on people's soul, in a way that doesn't happen in other places. ...

you're preaching to the choir about leaving the anglosphere. i keep telling guys to do it; they won't regret it, unless they really like making lots of money. but even then, money =/=happiness.if that equation proved true, most people in the USA wouldn't be miserable as they are now.

I think a lot of the guys are strapped for cash & so migrating is difficult for them, because what else could be stopping someone from leaving if they're not happy?> There are lots of options for ppl who are on a budget like volunteer work, organic farm hands, couchsurfing, backpacking but one has to have the guts to take the risk into the unknown. I tell myself what I gain I gain & what I loose I loose. My dad taught me that if I don't try then I've already failed.

There are other reasons too. For example, culture shock, home sickness, anxiety. The thought of "what am I doing flying half way across the world just to find a decent female?" It's not just about practicalities.
