This has always been a curious topic for me because I believe some of my friends are still virgins even though they are in their 30s and 40s. I have tried for years to get some of these guys to go overseas with me to have some fun and meet beautiful foreign women. The problem is that they are either not interested or they pretend to be interested only to have a last minute excuse why they cant go. Some of the things I notice about these men who are virgins or have had very little contact with women over the years is that they are workaholics (I guess there is no other purpose to life except working for these guys), they are homebodies who rarely leave their home (when they are not working) or they have child like hobbies such as playing video games (Elliot Rodgers), playing on the internet or betting on sports. I have trouble understanding that mentality. How do they treat their natural urges to having sex? Another thing I notice with American men (the ones who do have the time and money to travel) is that they feel guilty about taking a vacation when they should be working or looking for a job. I agree with you that the overwhelming majority of American males are not virgins but with the increase of feminism and an ever increasing litigious society, male virgins are beginning to increase as shown by this article on the Oprah show (http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyle/2 ... es-show-2/.)
Even if American males aged 30-50 are only 1% virgins of the total population (out of 300 million Americans which about half 150 million would be males), that would make about a million and half virgins. Even though small in percentage it is still a lot of old dudes who are still virgins. Many not by choice.

My point of view is they can't grasp the reality of what they are missing sharing moment with real women.

That was the mistake i made in the past,delaying my departure abroad.
I sincerely believed women in some way where the same all around the world..i could have imagined numerous differences but i could not feel it under my skin.

Now after having traveled,i totally understand how those years missed where i didn't made the move where quite wasted.
I know you guys here have surely went thru some sort of similar process maybe.

It's by living,by sharing those precious moment with real women,i really comprehend what i was missing by staying at home.
Everything went very clear to me..many things i was strugling to understand in my life and in the society went intelligible.

Before going abroad,i had interactions where i always felt the relation was almost always one sided,as a guy i was there to entertain and keep the relation living having the pressure she could get out at any time.

They have this very bad emanation as i could smell how i was easily replaceable and they where right as in an average western relation you not only work hard to land a girl but also it's almost harder to keep her.

So in my opinion,those American guys who are only into jobs,lonely and surely unhappy are very damaged maybe beyond repair..the later they try abroad like in SEA or Latin American as an example,the more difficult it will be for them to see they are different options in their life.

And it should be a self awareness point where they find out the male female relations are screwed in America..if they don't realize this fact,in no way the real abroad movement will be done.

It's not by digging their head in jobs,sports,gym or wathewer that it will bring them quality women.

I've met a few of these guys in America.

Even the most hopelessly unattractive or socially awkward men will eventually see a hoe and lose their virginities.

This doesn't easily happen in America as there is a lot of shaming regarding the subject, let alone the (i)legality.

Do not buy into bullshit like this and the 40-year old virgin. There are so many bogus studies that try to portray people who get lots of casual sex as being happy, healthy people but that is bullshit. It is far worse to live a life of getting lots of sex if you are also full of hatred and jealousy and attract hateful women from broken families and you are addicted to women and need them to satisfy you. Sex is temporary pleasure, after all.

One of my best friends was attractive to women and could get lots of sex and lots of people thought he was very happy, but I could tell he was secretly miserable because he didn't have a loving family, he relied on deception (PUA) to attract hateful/miserable/emotionally-broken skanks, he tried to deceive me a few times, and he had lots of jealousy towards emotionally healthy people. OK, I see your point. Yeah, articles like this come off as condescending a lot of times. And no mainstream article would ever recommend really helping these late virgins, that is true. It's all about humiliating them and ostracizing them even more than they already are.
