Rock wrote:Starchild, I think you might have a kind of Charlie Brown/Winston Wu/Murphy's Law thing going on for you. Why? Because I remember so many bizarre things were happening to you towards the tail end of your stay in Gramercy, things I've never come close to experiencing in all the time I've spent in Makati. Your posts were very entertaining but at the same time, I was shaking my head wondering how can the guy be so unlucky and have all that stuff go down. In theory, you should had it made. You were making enough money doing your work to afford the rent in that condo and to live it up with dates, intellectual pursuits, etc. Since you grew up in an even more extreme third world environment, you would understand how to thrive where first worlder newbies might get confused and make a lot of mistakes. It seemed like you had it all. Then one crisis after another and boom, you are forced to leave like that. Really bizarre. And now Germany is as bad as the third world? I've only been to Frankfurt a few times briefly each trip and Munich for a week during one Oktoberfest. But I sure never got the impression that those cities were anything like the third world. However, Billy whose from Germany tells me Berlin is considered quasi third world by Germans. Anyway, your posts are entertaining. Keep em' coming.
Yes. This is the force of darkness...I will write it in detail :)

If you can make good money in Manila or elsewhere, I really see no reason why to relocate to Germany.
For what do you need a visa? for what do you need EU anyway? As you said you are earning from an US-company.

In your case you might be better off without EU. Not clear why you decide to go to Germany, despite you could find a better living standard somewhere else.

I myself do not like to live in Europe, despite I am EU citizen (Austria) so i moved on to Malaysia, and soon after to Japan. About visa, working permit, it takes a while of course, but now I am permanent resident in Japan for life. I prefer Japan to EU, so I am now in Japan since more than 30 years.

Why I am in Philippines and Thailand only for vacation and consider future retirement in these countries? Because it is easier to earn money in Japan than in Philippines. Simply said, you need money move to advanced countries like Germany, USA, Japan etc. - and if you have already money or get a good income from somewhere, move to underdeveloped countries, because you can pay for comfortable life. - Often much more comfortable than in developed Western countries - IF you have already money ...

You mentioned rent in Philippines compared to Germany, php 40.000,- per month? Most Filipinos holding ordinary jobs have to work about 3 months for that, to pay only such a high rent...if they have a job... everything is relative...

Hello,

Germany, like most of Europe, has many good things. The only problem is feminism ~ that makes even putting 1 foot on that country undesirable for normal men. German architecture is good and unique. The food of course is very bland. But cars there are very good and so is the public-transportation. The autobahn is good. The deutschmark was a good currency. The standard of living is expensive but good.

Hmm, I do remember you mentioning that you were living in Manila on your hard-earned savings, but never mind. If you could work from home for a salary not so distant from what you are earning now in Cologne, then I guess I'll have to scratch my head thinking of how you could be so naive to think that you could go from a third world paradise to a first world paradise on a single jump...

Many Europeans who have a soul have figured it out though and moved to places where they sync...some are still stuck on money and can't seem to see things that are so obvious...
Don't you see you are the one who has been fooling himself all along with his new age bullcrap? Of all the solid & legit reasons to move to a place like Germany, you say you chose the idea of finding like-minded new age soldiers for your unlikely spiritual battles... LOL, really? Are you trying to fool someone else than yourself?

You tried the sun, the condo and the girls of Makati and didn't like 'em. You are trying the pragmatic and sobering life of post-industrial Germany, and not liking it either. For somebody who purports himself to be so spiritually developed and well versed on how the world and society function, you are not showing much tolerance and spirit of adaptation.

Just pull your act together, I would suggest ya.

I did not appreciate my life in manila nor in India, now i know what i missed. 8) 8)
That's sick man how much did you pay for that?
I was paying 35k Pesos which is around 600 EUR plus one month rent. I did not appreciate the place much, now i do :) ...
Damn that was quite a expenditure, was that really necessary? lol
I guess if you were actively working it would create less of a dent but still...

Once again you are heading into a situation laced with negativity (girlie bars, oppressive societies), focused on negativity (getting laid, evil hindus).

You are hardly ready to go on a "mission".

Physician heal thyself.

It was just that I wanted to visit Europe and gain worldly experience ....I was sick for a week, so could not post on time....I have now visited most of Germany and only place that is marginally better is Munich. The migration from Asia to Europe began only when the fake currency was introduced....for like 10,000 years no one went from Asia to Europe for a "better life" .Its the Europeans who came to Asia and established their fake central banks for enslavement...that is still on today...

I'm not relocating to Germany...Hell no :)..Having an Indian passport is the greatest curse for a Alternative thinking individual....I couldn't get any other visa expect work this easily....Once, I'm done seeing many places in Europe, I will be back in Philippines :)

You are lucky...I plan to visit Japan, hopefully....:) ....

I just wanted to visit Europe and due to being from India, its really tough to get visa, if you play by the rules. Plus i have only freelance work credentials, so they don't kinda trust me. :)

I have since then read many articles and many people confirmed the same opinion on Germany. Here an American

https://answers.yahoo.com/question/inde ... 514AA65jsl

I was living in Germany and it sucked so bad. Life was so restrictive. No Jet ski's, no snowmobiles, no ski boat, no hot tub, no outdoor swimming pool.

And I don't come from a rich family just middle class. The middle class in Europe basically just slave away just to pay the bills with barely any luxuries.

Don't get me started on Air conditioning , I had to sweat my balls off in the summer time because for some unknown reason hey haven't heard of air conditioning in most parts of Europe.

What I'm trying to say is why do some of these people think life is better on there side of the planet when clearly it sucks balls or maybe people in North America are just spoiled.
Update : Yea right, I mean your own hot tub and swimming pool, Europe has no nature every last square inch has been pissed or craped in. I'd say a good 70% of Europe is a ******* 3rd world shithole.
Update 2: I know that how we do things is worse for the environment. But I would rather live my life like this because it's much more enjoyable. Your point is like saying accept $1000 instead of $2000 if someone is giving it out for free.

Common dude....We already know new age is all crap....otherwise we wouldn't be here in this forum :) ...for some reason...I'm not even getting enough energy to write a decent reply... :( :(

If you want to visit India. Go to Kerala..My state...It is the most Advanced state in India, least crime, least corruption, you won't be cheated in Kerala, but the rest of India. People here are educated and aware...and It is the most Christian place in India. It has the highest number of Christians in India. Jesus disciple St, Thomas came here first. You will easily find what you are looking for in Kerala. Kerala has the most Christian values much better than even in Philippines and Germany.

It is at the southern most part of India, if you visit other places in India and visit Kerala...You will feel the difference.

Even in Germany I got cheated on Mobile deals and autobhan tickets office giving me the most expensive tickets always...not suggesting the cheaper option...In Kerala, people always tell you the best, cheapest route to your destination.....Kerala was an independent country and it was the most advanced. The first europeans came to India because of Kerala. You can Google it for more info. It is expensive a bit than rest of India, but its the price you pay for quality.

It is also the most visited place in India now, just having being a part of India politically has tarnished its image. In Kerala, Hindus, Muslims, Christians all live in Harmony..There is no sectarian violence here.

However, there is no Fun....:) ...Its a good place for pure exploration :)

LOL...they are fake hindus...riding on good hindus. :) ....The lame stream Hindus are what is bad ...the real Hindus are no different from real Christians or real Muslims...who all play by the rules. I have met some really great Hindus....who can touch your pulse and tell you the entire history of your existence plus what illness you have etc....and give you a cure for it....whenever you plan to visit India...PM me..I can send you to real deals not the fake main stream ones who appear in TV and newspapers...and tarnish the image of the real ones.....
