I just came back to Florida after a 3-week family visiting trip. Between the two Wisconsin trips was a week or so spent in miserable Northern Illinois. And remembering just how cold and unapproachable Illinois women are, I made a sign and attached it to a walking stick I made out of a discarded cut tree branch in the alley.
The sign read on one side; "Boycott Illinois Women! Single guys, don't even think about hooking up or even trying to hook up with an Illinois woman, because they will ignore you, they will reject you, they will tell you to go away, they will get you in trouble with the police, and they can even get you killed."
On the other side, the sign reads; "Boycott Illinois Women! Guys, don't ever try to interact with them, don't ever ask them for phone numbers, facebook info, or emails, don't ever approach them, in fact, if you see one near you, all back full!"
And nearly everywhere I went when going bike riding in the area, I carried that sign with me and proudly displayed it for all to see.
Well, when I went to visit the Oak Park Conservatory in west suburban Oak Park with that sign on my walking stick, I got literally the North Korean Juche Philosophy attitude from the receptionist and had to put it outside with my bicycle. She even said; "Don't argue with me!" She was totally enforcing the Juche Philosophy and the Kim Il-Sung/Kim Jong-Il dictatorship at the conservatory, even as though it were a felony in Illinois for men and women to be in the same building, even punishable by life imprisonment for up to 3 generations of one's extended family, just like in North Korea.
Literally made me feel like just borrowing an F-16 and doing a midnight air raid on Pyongyang, North Korea, taking out the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun (the current location of the embalmed bodies of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il), the giant bronze statues of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il on Sungri Street just north of Mansudae, the Juche Tower, and that sickle and hammer monument across the river from the Kim Il-Sung/Kim Jong-Il statues. Literally hurt North Korea where I know it hurts the most; their statues and idols of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il.

Re: "North Korea" experience while boycotting Illinois women
And then suppose you provoke, literally, World War III from North Korea. North Korea is a tremendously volatile nation that has allready proved and shown that it (North Korea) has weapons of mass destruction, and North Korea is about certain to use them against likely every Western nation if you were to go and blow up Kim Il-Sung's palace. Attack North Korea, and even the FBI, the U.S. Army National Guard, the Department of Homeland Security, the TSA, you name it all, pounding on your door would be nothing compared to the potential consequences. Heck, North Korea may even be a nationwide no-fly-zone, and you could even get shot down the instant you fly over the North Korean border! Worse, suppose North Korea even decides to annihilate every single country on Earth that is against the Juche Philosophy if you were to dump enough Mavericks on Kim Il-Sung's palace that the bodies of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il are burned up?traveller wrote:Literally made me feel like just borrowing an F-16 and doing a midnight air raid on Pyongyang, North Korea, taking out the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun (the current location of the embalmed bodies of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il), the giant bronze statues of Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-Il on Sungri Street just north of Mansudae, the Juche Tower, and that sickle and hammer monument across the river from the Kim Il-Sung/Kim Jong-Il statues.
