Other parts in this world are also far away from being safe against deadly violence.

Plenty of places in Latin America are dangerous, Africa and the Arab world are a chaos, even in Philippines in some places it is the best you don't go there.

Places in China with unrest are often not reported due to press censorship... countries even in Eastern Europe like Romania, Moldovia, Albania are known to be full with criminals...

In USA or elsewhere any person who is doing something like that - showing up with a gun killing unarmed people in a school - cannot be 'normal' and such behavior cannot be explained or excused with loneliness etc. This person was mentally sick. A madman.

We have this also here in Japan, sometimes, a madman showing up with a sword, killing people next to him...despite a strong prohibition of all arms, not only firearms.

The shooter is not some beta guy but some other guy "chris Harper Mercer", he supposedly shot for maybe religious reason. Who knows? The conspiracy theories thinks it's all a setup and another way for the Govt to push for gun control.

If he was on any number of sites on the web, including HA, dealing with MRA/MGTOW/expatriation issues, etc., he wouldn't have gone this route. I really think sites like ours help to save lives more than it hurts society (according to feminists).

'His family described him as alone, no partner/lover. A victim not only of his own perception but also of our social media soaked enviroment. He posted the footage on facebook and twitter as well tweeting while he was running from the cops because he wanted the world to see his actions, much like many others post menial and trivial details of their life online and expect us to see it. Only his was at least a bit more interesting.

Society pushes men out, most will go. A few will push back. The most dangerous thing in the world is man with nothing to lose.

Take a guy like this. What if he lived in a society where p4p was legal and openly supported? What if he had been allowed to have a girlfriend? (Look at his photo and tell me he wasn't incel.)

Obviously, I would say that instead of doing this he should have look for alternative solutions like going abroad.

I read through a few comments. No surprises there. The blame game. Look past the obvious and blame it on politics or whatever.

Introduce more "gun control" and these things will still happen. Give society back to men and cure incel and you'll stop virtually all of it.

Stricter gun control laws won't change anything. The guy had 6 guns with him, 5 extra rounds of ammo and a flak jacket. In the apartment where he lived with his mother, there were another 7 guns found. All of the guns were purchased legally. So if stricter gun laws made it so that the guy could only have half a dozen guns, would that have changed anything? No way! Guns don't kill people. People kill people.

Wow, does this sound familiar to anyone? This is why I won't move back to the U.S. I believe that the U.S. is ground zero for mass murderers like this guy.

Think about it. The U.S. is a perfect storm in terms of creating these types of murderers. Think about the massacres that have happened before. What's the profile of these killers? Without reading anything, my first guess would be that the killer was a loner, single, male, no girlfriend, not making much money and never traveled outside the U.S. How many men are there in the U.S. who fit this profile? Millions and millions!

The U.S. makes it worse because access to guns legally and illegally is fairly easy. If you can't get a gun in one state, go to a state that's gung ho on Second Amendment rights.

Then there is the general desensitization to sex and violence on TV, video games and other media channels over the years. Blood, guts, gore, sex, violence? No problem seeing it on TV in the U.S. Just watch shows like CSI, Gotham, Grimm, Supernatural. Or other shows like Game of Thrones, Westworld, Banshee. It's a lot easier to kill people when you see it every day in vivid, graphic detail on TV, video games, newspapers, etc. Life itself has become devalued to almost zero. Nowhere is this more true than in the U.S.

Feminism runs rampant in the U.S., neutering men making them feel alone, marginalized and loveless. On top of that, these men see reality shows on TV where dumb bimbos who add absolutely no value to society, are making millions of dollars from fellow morons who watch them on TV and buy their vapid products and accessories. Talk about feeling emasculated!

I think all of these things taken together, contribute to the downfall of men living in Westernized societies but the U.S. is the worst. In China, there are mass killings but we may not hear about them because of censorship. But there, the killings are usually done with knives instead of guns. Like Yohan said, in Japan, it's done with swords instead of guns.

Over the next few years, it's only going to get worse. As the U.S. economy and global economy slows down and crashes, with the financial futures of these type of men looking dimmer and dimmer and with no prospects of finding a woman who will make them feel happier with life, I expect mass murders like this to increase, not decrease. I don't think Europe is going to get better either. Especially when you have mass migrations of men with similar profiles moving into Europe but with no secure financial prospects available to them either.

Going abroad is the best solution I think, but you need to pick and carefully choose where you go. Visit the country and see how you do with local women there. You need to find a country and work that enables you to live there long term. Don't think about wage levels similar to the Westernized countries where you come from. Ratchet your expectations down to the level of the locals, making enough money to live comfortably but frugally. You'd be surprised at how much you can live without if you ever sit down and prioritize the minimum essentials that you'll need to live on.

He wasn't trying to help anyone. He was a narcissist, angry that the Susie Rottencrotches of his choice weren't giving him attention and his own special snowflakeness wasn't being recognized, mad that the world wasn't handed to him for the low, low price of being born into it.

If a person has money for weapons and skill to plan a massacre, they have money and skill to plan a trip to Vegas, Hawaii, or a dozen other places, in the country. Tourist destinations are also good for GFE, if that's what he wanted.
Get a passport and a hundred other places around the world open up to you.
Society didn't push that a--hole anywhere, he jumped.
