You don't have to do a lot of analysis to figure out what Will N. Dowd's assertions are delusional. Just look on Rooshv where there are some legit good looking guys in the Philippines who don't have the handsome "issues" that he seems to have. Plus i've been here on the ground level to experience what it's like with friends who are very good looking. They don't have issues either.

It's likely Dowd has other personality issues or some quirks that are turning off some women. If he's as surly or arrogant in person as he is online then it's quite obvious as to why some people are repulsed by that.

I could go back to the Philippines (if I were looking for a relationship there, which I'm not) and easily get a much higher quality girl than limp Willy ever could. Why? Because when I'm actually talking to girls, I take interest and am sincere. When I first started becoming interested in Filipinas, I learned about the culture, learned how to communicate basic things in the language, even learned what Filipino foods I liked so I could talk about them. (And that last one is damn difficult!)

I agree with you. I had tons of Filipinas flirting with me everyday in Cebu even when my wife is with me. The last time I had a white woman flirt with me was 13 years ago. About half of Filipino guys leave their wives for younger women which is a huge problem for a single mom with kids in a third world country. Filipinas want a guy that doesn't drink, smoke, gamble and that won't run off on them. Also, most Filipinas want a guy under 6 feet tall. Tall white guys have long penises which is painful for them.

I've realized that Filipinas that want white foreigners as husbands or boyfriends prefer ones that are only average looking. The reason for this is if they are too handsome, they will assume you've already been with a lot of girls, which they won't like of course. If you are average, they will be satisfied since you will be still be taller, whiter and richer than Filipino guys, so it will be enough for them. If you are only an average white dude, your height, eye color and features will still be considered much more attractive than the local guys. It will be plenty to give some desperate local Filipina the 2 most prized possession in the Philippines: A baby with a foreign father, and the free money that comes with it.

The other problem they want average white guys is Filipinas don't want to feel too ugly compared to the white guy they hooked up with. Since most Filipinas are not attractive, and have very low self confidence, a white guy that is too tall or good looking would be too much for them to handle unless, they themselves are very attractive, which is rare. The whole short, brown, and poor vs tall, white, and rich thing is too much for most Filipinas to handle, so they settle for some average white guy that couldn't get a girl back home to save his life.

If you are a better looking guy, you can score the better chicks, but many girls won't trust you because of your looks. Other girls will be so shy and not confident around you they will just say forget it, I can't meet you, sorry. I've experienced this a lot and it sucks.

This is very good news, every good western man has it's own value in philippines. Thanks God for this possibility of selection.

I don't know. I lived in Phils two years and I talked directly with many girls who say exactly what Will was saying. Whether or not it applies to HIM is another story, and it doesn't matter foreigner or local, many girls are uncomfortable with a guy too handsome for them. The gender imbalance is so great in Phils that no girls wants yet another reason for a guy to leave them.

I think if Will N is as good looking as he says he is and at around 40 he should be having no problem there. 40 is still a good age and I've actually had girls complain that I was too young to take seriously.

I have read articles here in HA about age gap, that the girls prefer really older ages in men.

Had to go back and see what I wrote over a year ago.

The stereotype is that many/most Pinoys cheat. This is one of the reasons that some Filipinas are interested in foreigners - the stereotype of the foreigner is that they do not cheat. Now how true are either of these stereotypes? Your guess is as good as mine.

Now why Pinoys cheat can be debated forever. Access to lots of women, the fact that a good Pinoy (aka employed) is very attractive to Filipinas, the influence of the Spanish culture, the lack of divorce; all these and more - take your pick.

The benefit is that Filipinas may believe that you, as a foreigner, will be more loyal. The negative is that most Filipinas will be insecure about your loyalty and sometimes that insecurity can turn into jealousy.

This reminds me of the situation I am through, right now.
I nice filipina girl that we had some contact(she contacted me first), after a few messages told me that 'I don't deserve a guy like you'!
Is she humble? Does she wants to chase her? Is she hiding something? Low self esteem?
Why this attitude?

After this declaration, she almost withdrew herself from contacting. If I ask, she responds, but rather minimal responses, like being 'afraid' of something, if I can interpret it well.

But, as I can see in my profile visitors, she visits my profile every now and then.
