How Much of Your Life Has America Wasted?

I was just thinking about how much of my life has dwindled away & while some of that is my own fault, I think most of it is an environmental/logistical thing. I'm heading to Europe, finally, after years of spinning in a vacuum- but I'm realizing that I'm going to be 30 years old & my life has been very barren. Sure, I didn't spend it working my goddamn life away dealing with a borderline feudal environment & possibly getting locked up because someone else is a dipshit- but that's not enough!

I noticed so many things when I got older & these are things that the people older than me act like are non-existent. These people act like because there are supposedly places that are different (where they usually haven't been & didn't make any efforts to move to), that America isn't that way. It's like the idea that these places are good & that they drag the rest of the country UP- it's something that doesn't apply to those other places! For f**k's sake- that's like saying that because Portugal is a good place to live, Germany is too!

For most of my life, the only thing around to do was use money. If you're too young to get a job, you're shit out of luck (of course, it still counts against you that you don't work- reality means nothing here). If you get a job, it seems to take over your whole life & every f***ing thing requires permission from others- even if it doesn't involve them! This is a major reason why families loose touch (my family never really gets together anymore & we're ITALIANS!).

Socially, the people were usually assholes. There was always A LOT of anti-genuine behavior (ex: I'd say something happened because that's what occurred & somehow I was the bad guy for this, more or less like an uncouth miscreant for being accurate/honest- which is what they always pretended that they liked as a trait). They REALLY didn't like someone that wasn't easy to walk on or kick around- even though the PRETEND that they do. They had an ENORMOUS problem with someone that was not affirmative of "aww, it's such a shame" or "that's f***ed up" type of shit- kind of tied to the other two things. At the end of the day, it was a lot like that movie Pitch Black.

You can't get your base together in a way that doesn't dissolve your life, so you're more or less f***ed no matter what you want to do. Get an entry-level job & work your way up? Not likely in a bad economy, especially if you're a white guy where I am. Go to college & use your degree to get a better-paying job? You'll spend more than you'll make back & then be living in your parents' house- if you get the job, it gets outsourced to India. Either one of these likes to play fief & treat you more or less like a serf- after all, you can get fired at will!

Of course, all the "veterans" like to pretend everyone else if f***ed-up for not living like them. For Christ's sake, these people took whatever was thrown at them & now nobody's able to do anything without "offending corporate." Aw, poor babies just want to defend themselves- any manner of persuing or maintaining any interest is innocent self-defense, right? Not if you're walking your kid home from school- that's an arrestable offense! So the "good people" act like doormats & make sure there's less & less for the next generation, but they want to be "respected"? What the f**k for?! "Oh, I worked hard my whole life." So? If I walk down the street flexing my stomach as hard as I can the whole time, I'm morally superior to someone that walks the same distance that doesn't?

I feel the exact same way. I've been back in America for a week and a half and I would like to get the f*** out of here ASAP. And I especially want to get out of Los Alamos. That town really sucks my soul, and there is literally nothing to do there. Unfortunately, I have a commitment with the early music ensemble again, but now I'm thinking about breaking it off because now I realize how much I miss Mexico. I need to border hop very soon, like now!!!

This time I am going to vote with my feet to STAY OUT OF AMERICA AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!!! If I go back again, I swear that I will ONLY be in El Paso. No more going to the interior of the U.S. of Gay again.

What struck me about the western states is that the vast majority don't even know a country like south africa exists and ask where in africa is that They are shocked to learn white people actually live there, or that we have roads and towns etc. Still they are good people when you get to know them. It was far better than plastifornia. What a horrid place.

The only thing to do in so many places is use money. There's not too many situations where someone can do other than "be about their business & be on their way"- a Puritan hand down, it seems. People spend so much time working, never daring to take time off or refuse a higher workload than their job description (because of "may fire" policies, at the very least)- they don't see these "loved ones" that are always referenced & it doesn't seem that they'd even WANT do anything to interfere with harm to them, especially if it was a "special style." Gang member does a drive-by & kills their kid, that's f***ed-up & that gang member is an enemy. Let a cop do it, I'll bet they were "just doing their job" & it's only sad.

That's one of the absolute worst things for me: the "kid with their fingers crossed" style of the people. It's kind of like the idea that what happens is NOT what occurs, like when a kid lies & says "I had my fingers crossed- as if that negates reality. This, of course, would be applied to your trial & it's not unlikely that you'll have one- reality not applying to assessments & the actions that come after them, and all.

Best you get out. But make sure you have a skill that will earn you a premium income elsewhere. The turd world has a huge gap between those that live well and the miserable with little income. Make sure you can get into the first group.

Los Alamos, although it's in New New Mexico, is basically California in a nutshell - very plastic vibes, superficial hellos in residential areas, more live to work mentality than in say Santa Fe or Albuquerque, no rich culture, everything is bland. The only difference is that the cost of living is nowhere near as insane, and there's beautiful nature. That's why I booked my flight back to Mexico for the 19th, as I can see myself living in Mexico longer term while going to the U.S. of Gay just to visit.

I get these business conference calls from USA and they ask can they call me by Christian name. well no I have never met you! In the rest of the world it is Mr so and so on first contact:lol: Mr, Meneer, Herr, Senor, Messieur, Padrao, anything. Just don't be my buddy when you dont know me. Even a black has more manners and will address me as Baas, Meneer, chief, Sir etc when he approaches me as a stranger.

I have even seen american kids address their parents by christian name. My kids would never dare show such disrespect. Any one much older than you is Oom or Tannie before first name. And never a teacher by first name as well.

I had a shock in university overseas when the lecturer said not to call him sir and call him by first name. I replied I cannot do that. I am not your equal or your friend and should show you respect. I will say sir or Mr and surname, or your title.

It is all so false.

If some street beggar in Mexico were to call you Matt, dont you feel like you want to give him a PK up the side of the head? But I am sure mexicans have better manners.

1) I wasn't approached by street beggars every day when I was in Mexico. And most didn't know my name anyways

2) A lot of Mexicans called me "güero" (their term for any white person, but especially Nordic or any descent that isn't Mediterranean), but that didn't offend me whatsoever. In fact I found that to be quite affectionate.

3) The superficial hellos you encounter in residential areas in America are just that, superficial. It does NOT mean they want to submit a friendship with you. They do that just to get along. Of course that's America's definition of being friendly. In Mexico, I almost never encountered superficial hellos. But befriending people was easier there than in the U.S., especially if the locals were from a region where the mentality is open minded. I even was invited to parties and other people's houses at times. And other times when I met people in Mexico, I asked if I could join their birthday parties or hang out with them in general; they said yes most of the time.

Kradmelder: See, for me, it's a little different. I prefer an almost complete casualness mostly BECAUSE that Mr/Mrs/Sir/Ma'am/etc... can be fake respect. Honestly, that respect isn't there upon first meeting. It's not an anti-respect, but more of a "hospitable neutral" kind of feeling.

I DESPISE how fake things are here, though. So much "pretend family" & little to no concern for real family- if anything like that forms & it's not just "playing nice with relatives." Big part of why I'm taking off (will be leaving Dec is the inaccuracy/dishonesty/fakeness. I've lived in a mirage for so much of my life, where nothing was really the way it was presented, and I can't even trust that it won't get me killed/incarcerated now (or my kid at whatever age).

Jeremy: It's like a borderline feudal situation, isn't it? Why not just work abroad? You can take some money to live for at least a few months, learn the language if you don't know it already (or learn it before you go, if you can find it), and then just build up from there. I don't know what you do now, but you might be able to get a work visa for what you already have & if you have languages, that would open up more doors (even if they have to train you- they might be willing to).

I hear it is not so easy for americans to work abroad.

When moving overseas, one of the biggest questions many have concerns Expat Tax. Unfortunately, America is one of a handful of countries that vigorously pursues taxes worldwide – so don’t expect to avoid a U.S. tax debt by moving overseas. As a matter of fact, you’re not even allowed to give up your U.S. citizenship to eliminate a tax obligation.

Be aware that America has tax treaties with over 42 countries where the IRS and the foreign tax agencies exchange tax data on their residents. Many Americans think because they’re earning money in another country – and paying that country’s taxes – they have no liability when it comes to their home country and that they are not required to pay expat tax USA. That’s totally not the case.

That is insane. What other countries do that? SA tax law I can wok up to 6 months abroad and not be taxed, and if i pay taxes on foreign income abroad I am exempt from tax here. That in effect means americans are double taxed. If I come back once in 6 weeks my foreign allowances are not taxed at all. That means I can earn income plus pay myself like $150 per day 'subsistence' excl accomodation, and not be taxed at all on it. That is a huge whack of extra tax free money every month and worth coming back for a few days every 6 weeks.

To give up your US citizenship also costs big bucks. America seems like a prison sentence of hard labour without parole.

Compare this american plundering of its citizens with our tax law:

Section 10(1)(o)(ii) of the Income Tax Act does indeed provide for a tax exemption for remuneration such as salary, wage, bonus, commission, earned by an employee in respect of services rendered outside South Africa for any employer in terms of his or her employment contract.

All the remuneration that the employee earns outside South Africa during that period will only be exempt if the employee is outside South Africa for a period exceeding 183 days, of which 60 days were continuous, during any 12 months period.

This 12 month period is, therefore, not a calendar year and can apply over two separate tax years, exempting the income earned from the foreign employment for parts of these years if over the 12 month period the requirements are met.

This exemption will not apply in respect of employment income earned while in South Africa and also does not apply to other forms of income such as interest received or rental income from leasing property.

It is important to ensure that if the employer is resident in SA, then the foreign employment income should be disclosed under IRP 5 code 3651 and not the normal salary code of 3601.

The SA Revenue Service (Sars) provides more details in Interpretation Note 16 provides on the requirements and provides examples of how the exemption should be applied, including the 12 month period where the qualifying exemption days of 183 and 60 are over two separate tax years.

basically if you work outside SA for more than half the year you pay no tax at all on that income. It is a get out of gaol free card wore skilled whiteys. No one wants SA darkies. The reason they won't close this loop hole is they don't want to lose these skilled whiteys, who would just renounce their residence instead of their offshore work. They are hoping they keep their white families here and send the money back, and claim it on VAT, property rates, school fees etc. I am sure the darkies realise that for all their hate speech about whites they need whitey to stay or they are truly buggered. if whites were to all leave they would collapse into another african dung heap, followed by mass poverty, starvation and die offs. Their would soon be nothing left to steal and pilfer.

I can readily get work outside SA for well over $100 000 per year, including free housing, car and allowances. I would then pay no tax at all on it. But at this stage in life i don't want to lose time with my kids, or live amongst piles of darkies, and I don't really need the money. I have done off shore work for shorter periods when the kids were very young just to pay off the house cars etc. I banked a sum of it off shore as well. But eventually my tolerance for being amongst darkies started to wear thin.

For a young man wanting to provide for his family, it is ideal, except for the risk his wife will cheat and spend al the money. Happened to a mate. Was sending all the money home but was given notice by the bank for nonpayment of the bond on the house. Wifey was partyting with boyfriends with all that money and didn't even pay the house. He lost everything and nothing to show for his sacrifice off shore. What was left she took in the divorce. In effect he didn't even have a home to come back to as the bank was taking it. And his car she took. All he had left was his bike. Unfortunately his reaction to the whole thing was total avoidance of white women and he started pomping nonwhites, which cost him most of his friends as well. I tolerated it as long as he didn't do that near me or bring them to my house.

Perhaps the reaction was extreme. I would just stop giving any money to white women or supporting them financially, and not get emotionally involved so when they cheat you just dump them like the worthless garbage they have shown themselves to be.Tell her you are putting all the foreign income into a trust for the future of the children, and will pay the bond and school fees and medical aid out of the trust. She will get enough to buy groceries for the kids and should consider getting a job to at least cover her entertainment. If she has a tantrum, well you know she is not interested in the future well being of the family, but in her own material interests. The man of the house and bread winner has spoken in the best interests of the family, not his own. If you have a better plan for the future, offer a suggestion. If not shut up and follow your vow to obey or take a hike.

Kradmelder: You might be surprised to hear this: The other country that takes its citizens abroad is an African one- Eritrea.

The only other country, besides the US, that allows for prescription drugs to be advertised on TV is New Zealand. It's always some other way-out country to make it that America isn't "the only one." I truly believe that they set it up that way for this exact reason. "One of the only" doesn't sound quite as ostentatious as "the ONLY one."
