Last I checked Bluehost now wants three years paid up front -- in the neighborhood of $200. I'll check out both of these. What I want right now is a very simple one-page site, and don't want to pay a lot of money for it.

gs - do you want to register a domain name? Sometimes you can get free hosting when you register a domain. Use google. With the case of zetahost you pay for a year of hosting (24EUR) but you get the domain name for free for a year.

Look, nothing is going to be totally free. These companies have to make money somehow. Best for you I think is to go with zetahost personal hosting plan.

Thanks. I'll check it out. Do they offer any kind of technical support via phone or email? Bluehost is pretty good in that area, and as a technophobe I usually need plenty of it.

I don't know about phone support. They offer email support which I experienced. They had my issue resolved in minutes.

No thats only if you want to save more. If you want to pay only 3 dollars a month, you have to pay upfront for a few years in advance. If you wanna pay month by month then its like 7 or 8 dollars. Thats normal business. If you commit longer you get discounts.

If you want a simple free site you can put up a free blog on blogger or wordpress. It will be under their domain name and their hosting server.

They aren't. Unless he is deleting them. I see many of his posts above. What do you mean?

I highly recommend Bluehost.
I was banned from Bluehost. In my opinion, a web host should not censor content. When I learned that they have a Terms of Service that restricts content, I was like, "WTF, seriously?" And what content did I upload? Porn? No. I just was talking about sexual topics.

Really? You can't talk about sex? LAME. Any site that bans talking about sex, I am skeptical of. I think they may be doing it to program people to not think about sex and therefore, not have sex, and therefore, not reproduce. They are abiding by the Depopulation Agenda. It seems obvious, because what business does a webhost have in censoring anyone? Why is it in their interest to? It's not like their reputation will be damaged...because most sites don't share with their users what webhost they use. A webhost censoring is like an internet service provider censoring.

It's just wrong.

I have since then found a reliable host that does not censor any content whatsoever, unless the government orders it to be removed.

The worst I've seen for censorship in my lifetime was during the last presidential election and the whole Covid 19 error. A rapidly growing platform, Parler, was shut down by it's server provider, an Amazon company.

But if you were talking about reproducing with minors, I've got not objection to them shutting you down.

I suspect there is a bid niche out there for anti-censorship hosting.
