Whats up?

Hi-

I checked out this site for a while, and thought I would register. At least half of you are raving lunatics, so I thought I might fit in.
I have been expatriated for some time now...when I am not in the states dealing with BS. Anybody out there who has a wife and children
out in the boondocks? This site does have entertainment value I can see...

Are you sure we are raving lunatics? Perhaps we are sane and the mainstream conformists and sheep are the raving lunatics?

There was once a wise king who ruled over a vast city. He was feared for his might and loved for his wisdom. Now in the heart of the city, there was a well whose waters were pure and crystalline from which the king and all the inhabitants drank. When all were asleep, an enemy entered the city and poured seven drops of a strange liquid into the well. And he said that henceforth all who drink this water shall become mad.

So you moved to Australia? Why? What are the benefits there?

You are taking it far too seriously! I'm just irreverent. I'm not Aussie outback..it's Asia outback...jungle type stuff with lots of rain sometimes. Actually I forgot to include the line "senile old geezers" as well...I've heard it all. I have little left to be convinced of.
I have wife and kids and a minimum of trouble. I guess I have gone native. I can get on a plane and function back in the USA but I hate every minute of it. Back home I can fix the roof if I want..(it always needs it) write books, and play chess with my kids. Nothing is perfect, but I have made my choices and I'm living with it- for the better I think. Most people have enough ideas. They just lack the courage to use them.

Is your wife a foreigner or is she Anglo-American?

We live in Mindanao and my wife is from Mindanao as well...
