Stay in China more than likely, but as we can see - how long can it last? It is a reasonably safe bet for now but the geo-political landscape can change and new people come into power and old people are out on their ear but saying that - I think I should be good for the next ten years or so.
I had a plan of retiring in Spain - in ten years from now I will nearly by 60 so I am now thinking along the lines of where I am going to call home as a final resting place - it certainly won't be the UK and now I have my passport from a Latin American country - I have options - Brexit (up until now...) has put a big hole of my plans of retiring in Spain but we still don't know what the final outcome of that will be - maybe we will be able to settle in Europe like we could before but it looks doubtful that it will remain the same - this is what happens when you give cretins the vote - they'll actually use it if you put out a xenophobic and racist enough campaign.

Latin America is a solid plan but buying something there is a lot more expensive than it is in Spain!

I would LOVE to retire in Malaysia but I don't think I want to put my eggs onto a renewable ten year visa where - when I am too old to start anew - they kick me out - I want that security that when I retire - I am able to stay put wherever I am.
Marriage and kids - I wouldn't say no if the right woman came along but as each passing years leaves me - it becomes less likely - I have got to an age where I am more than fine on my own. If I get to 50 and I am still on my ownsome then that is how it will stay as I prepare my future of jubilacion
