If I ever post a Youtube vid here again, spank me silly. I want to see bugger-all traffic going to that censorship-ridden platform. They deserve to wither. I hope they wither.
When Paul Elam got pissed off and left we knew things were bad. Paul Elam has been the most grounded of all red pill personalities. It was hard for even me to find fault with anything he said (a very rare thing). Who could possibly have a problem with Paul Elam? Apparently Youtube, because, according to his story they were suppressing his vids from appearing on subscribers' feeds. Since he hasn't appeared on my feed for a long time I believe his story.
Youtube booted Alex Jones and David Icke. They are crazy nutcases, but you don't fight bad ideas with Communist-style silencing of opinions you don't like.
Worst of all, the example Timcast speaks about.... Youtube is cool with the World Health Organization which dispensed false information about the coronavirus to the world, but they remove videos by doctors offering unofficial yet informed opinions? That's perverse.
Free speech on Youtube is a distant memory. Why can't everyone abandon this ship and move over to Bitchute, or to any other platform that respects free speech? Yes, Bitchute is overflowing with nutcases wearing tinfoil hats, but being surrounded by such a thing is a small price to pay for the absence of censorship. (The same reason I hang around HA, really) Yes, I know there are many quality channels which can only be heard on Youtube. Can we subscribers maybe listen to them a little less than before? Just until they get the picture that their audience is gradually flocking to greener pastures and are persuaded to make the move? Because Youtube will keep up this behavior as long as everyone keeps using them.
I feel the same about Facebook, another censorship-happy tech giant that I refuse to post on any more. Also give Facebook the middle finger.

I was also sad to see Paul Elam leave YouTube. He got sick and tired of all the censorship and I believe he is now on Bitchute. YouTube and Facebook are big into censorship and they don't believe in free speech.

I feel the same we should use it and link it as little as possible but they are the only place to find lot of content. Today's Youtube is not the pre-Google Youtube of 2006 or even the Youtube of 2010-2016. viewtopic.php?f=34&t=41930flowerthief00 wrote: ↑May 9th, 2020, 1:11 amIf I ever post a Youtube vid here again, spank me silly. Re: Give Youtube the middle finger
It might be that we don't deserve better.
When I try to convince my friends to abandon censorship platforms and switch over to free speech platforms, well, a few do but most will not because of reasons that basically come down to "it's inconvenient". I even make it easy for them by supplying a registration link. When free speech means so little to us that we can't be bothered to be slightly inconvenienced then we don't deserve free speech.
