Well no, bum-on-the-dole - you accused me of being drunk whilst posting, not true. I am an expat and I am abroad - two things you simply aren't.mattyman wrote: ↑December 30th, 2020, 8:28 pmCan you fill-in myself and other postersor are you trying to make this discussion all about you, when there's the option of making another thread.am in China, sober, don't drink and I have a job, you are up at 4 am, drunk/stoned and don't have a job - let's not swap lives

In conclusion,
It's clear that yick hasn't read or researched into any of the medical evidence, he hasn't done the math, he hasn't researched the statistics, but only resorted to the usual ad-hominem attacks. I've tried to reason with him but he won't listen, won't even start another thread. You'll see above all the sir's replies are designed to de-validate my arguments. You'll notice he's got no evidence to back-up his claims. He's trying to shut-down discussion.
Do carry on the discussion if you see stuff that resonates with you.

Lockdown worked in China and now we are in a very light lockdown.
To stop a virus, you have to vaccinate/isolate the spreaders until a vaccine becomes available
Otherwise, you need to lockdown places and people.
It won't work if people refuse to comply
No-one can ruin your life except you, I know it is handy to blame a virus but the state of your life has nothing to do with COVID-19.

Resorting to name-calling & belittling. That's getting a bit childish.
I'm capable of reason even if I am drunk as you accuse me of. I don't need to resort to name-calling or argumentum-ad-hominem.

What are your qualifications regards virology and lockdowns? Or is everything you learned come via You Tube?
Re: How ignorant people are of the facts of covid? It's not the bubonic plague
Again sir, you're resorting to ad-hominem.
More to the point, what are YOUR qualifications in virology and lockdowns?

Re: How ignorant people are of the facts of covid? It's not the bubonic plague
What's my qualifications - I did lockdown in China and I saw the benefits of it.
You haven't done one day of lockdown any time of your life.
Re: How ignorant people are of the facts of covid? It's not the bubonic plague
How were you able to see the benefits of it? I was under lockdown in NZ and didn't see any benefits. In fact, if it weren't for lockdowns and media reporting on the scamdemic I would never have known about covid in the first place.
Re: How ignorant people are of the facts of covid? It's not the bubonic plague
Doesn't sound like epidemiology to me, Look-up Professor Sunetra Gupta of Oxford University, Proffessor Carl Heneghan of the Center for Eidence-based-medices. See what they have to say.
Re: How ignorant people are of the facts of covid? It's not the bubonic plague
Why, where they in China with me doing lockdown? No - so they can f**k off.
Re: How ignorant people are of the facts of covid? It's not the bubonic plague
The whole world, including the UK disagrees with you - Arden and her lockdown has been hailed a success everywhere.Cornfed wrote: ↑December 30th, 2020, 9:12 pmHow were you able to see the benefits of it?
