Filipino ''Colonizers '' of FB and YT

The Philippines suffered a lot under foreign colonialism, but now, the Filipinos are '' colonizing the colonizer" and taking " revenge" by becoming FB and YT members and ''controlling'' the English language space on those. Their number is enormous and you just can't win. And since in the SE Asian culture of the Philippines ( as is in Thailand) criticism, whether justified or not is seen as extremely bad behavior, those who post anything negative are rebuked in the most horrendous way,

Any comment, post or video that expresses any kind of not so good evaluation of how Filipinos do things immediately attracts humongous numbers of fight-back comments, which are often ad-hominem and some are outright ghetto -type curses. Here is a dramatized example of how it usually goes.

Someone posts something like this on FB:

"I went to the Philippines last month and the Internet speed was slow and it was getting disconnected all the time".

and a typical response would be:

" F*** you! F*** you! If you don't like how the Internet in the Philippines is, then go back to your f*** country!" ( He already went back, actually)
" F** you, you ugly, dirty, old man! Shut up! We don't need to adjust our Internet to you! Go to hell! Never come back to the Philippines again!"

Or,

" I went to the Philippines last month and the taxi drivers in Manila had no change and refused to use the meter".

"You ugly, dirty piece of sh-t! Shut your f--king mouth! You need to adjust to the Philippines,not the Philippines to you! If you don't like how taxi drivers do things in Manila, then just get the f-- out of the Philippines! "

If these are West-based Filipinos, then any criticism of any Asian person ( excluding Arabs, Turks and Indians) is equally attacked.

Or in extreme cases, it could possibly go like this:

" Tokyo was crowded, there was no room to sit on the subway. I stood the whole way and some passengers had bad breath".

" Shut up, racist! And f--k you! If you don't like how we Asians do things,and you don't like our breath, then just leave!"

And so it goes. Soon, the " racist" is reported to FB and YT authorities and is warned and reprimanded for " racial abuse".

Such Filipino members drown out the poster with dislikes and thousand of indignant rebuffs and suppress him. This is the revenge of the ex-colonized peoples against the former oppressors.

Yea I'm here now and I feel a VERY mixed reaction from the filipinos towards me. Sure some are nice, but a large majority really aren't. And overall my experience has been negative. Many of the girls have expressed their awareness of white guys coming here to "save them", and they are bitter about it. The youtube hype about 'sweet filipinas' is mostly that, just hype.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a young, slender, hot, vibrant, party-loving girl and you are on the same wavelength, you'd be much better off living the Bangkok nightlife. My wife was there a couple of months ago, for a long weekend, with some of her gfs, and saw a lot of hi-soc Filipinos, who probably prefer spending time there rather than Manila. Manila is more affordable for the average middle and middle-upper class family but Bangkok is a much classier, more hip and happening place, hands down.

The Philippines have a very specific target "expat" which, judging from your posts, is not you. The typical man who makes the most out of the Philippines is the retired or semi-retired man in his 50, 60s or 70s, with not much more to look forward to in life, besides settling in a semi-rural place, with a much younger, poor, dark-skinned girl as their wife or live-in partner, and spending their plentiful spare time drinking beer, having sex and meeting the occasional fellow foreigner.

Vloggers who do the tropical paradise hopping kind of thing, fly drones while smiling local children flock around them, clearly do so because that's what they are selling. It's their trademark of itinerating fun in inexpensive SEA locales, sometimes mixed with poverty porn which I, personally, find insufferable.

Having said all this, it is indeed possible to have the "random hookup" life in the Philippines, provided you live in a town large enough so your reputation as a womanizer doesn't spread. I have been in Davao City from 2015 to 2017 and, frankly, despite not being exactly a young stud (I was in my mid 40s and reasonably fit), I had quite a few experiences. So even if that's what you're looking for, I wouldn't write off the Philippine entirely. Of course, if it's random sex you're looking for, you can't expect every single girl you meet in a bar or on a dating site, to be a solid 8. 5s and 6s abound.
