Garbled speech epidemic...any thoughts?

Let me preface this by saying that I am NOT a CT enthusiast, but this is just freaky.

This issue of reporters speaking gibberish seems to be increasingly getting worse.

Start this video at 35 sec. and watch to the end. I feel sorry for the poor lady. It's almost like she's speaking another language! (just kidding...it's Czech)

These things happen all the time. They are called bloopers. Also, the talking heads in the studies use teleprompters, and if they are not concentrating it is possible to loose one's place and then they have to adlib, which most of them aren't capable of doing - they are just pretty faces that read the news, and not talented performers who can create their own conversation.

As always there is a rational and logical explanation.

1968. 3 major TV networks in the USA almost no cable, maybe in a few very large markets you have a 4th channel, Channel 5 WTTG.

One news program each, 30 minutes each night. 2 anchors, both men.

So:
1968
3 Channels
4-6 Anchors
200 million USSA citizens
One anchor per 33.3 million

2011
5,000 Channels
Thousands of Anchors
335 million USSA citizens
One anchor per 100,000

This is simply a dilution of the talent pool, in addition to an ever-increasing complex society making it impossible to keep up with the flow of information.
Or because you have so many on air, you see illness on air more. It's more statistically likely.
Or people are just getting ahead of their brains trying to talk too fast.

Talent pool? It doesn't take any brains to read off a teleprompter. Even Obama can do it.

They call them anchors as a hint to neuro-linguistic programming. The anchor takes the role of a hypnotist, sitting in the center of your screen while you get brainwashed in the near-sleep state. They don't have to gargle speech for mind control, regular tv works remarkably well!
