Diversion Tactics

Buy a wallet, put in some expired credit cards and then, some worthless currency in it. You can buy some Zimbabwean dollars online. Yes, they are dollars, and thieves like those. Put the wallet in plain view on your hotel desk.
You can also get a dummy phone or a toy phone. Also put it next to the wallet.
If space and money allows, you can also have a toy laptop.
A brain is a terrible thing to wash!
