Russia lives in "1984", all political agenda is controlled, everyone is a slave of the system, including even those rich and powerful. Corruption is a way of life. Rule of law is absent - you may come back home to see your home already sold by some fake realtor, when you go to police you find out they are also participating. You have no protection, no security, no guardians, no reliable way to protect your investment, property, savings, pensions or retirement funds.
Welcome back my Ukrainian forum friend. Are you in Ukraine now? You're over 27 and still a citizen I think, thus eligible for conscription.

Speaking of 1984, tell us what television is like in Ukraine these dsys? Non stop government propaganda.on all the channels, the so-called tele -marathon. Now they are trying to shut down the Telegram channels that actually tell the truth, like https://t.me/legitimniy and https://t.me/rezident_ua and https://t.me/ZeRada1. Understand the play on words of that last channel? Zelensky + зрада = ЗеРада. зрада,зрада, зрада everything that contradicts the narrative is Russian sponsored зрада, including what I'm writing now. Easy way to dismiss criticism. Straight from 1984.

And BTW, if you are in Ukraine, good look getting out. For all Russia's problems, at least they didn't lock the border like an Eastern European version of North Korea. But not everyone is slave in Ukraine, just the men of military age. So a little better than North Korea.

As for real estate, one of the nightclubs I used to go to in Kyiv had exactly the problem you describe back in 2021 during the covid, when i was there. Some crook bribed a judge to approve a fake sales document on the nightclub building, then the crook sent his goons to occupy the building. They drank up all the liquor and caused a big mess during their occupation. The nightclub owner then sent out an email to everyone he knew (i was on the list) asking for help. Someone on the list had enough блат to get the sale reversed and ownership situation fixed, then arranged for police to escort the goons out. Russia had no monopoly on corruption prior to 2022, and блат rules Ukraine same as Russia. BTW heard about that guy in South Carolina who committed suicide recently after testifying against Boeing? Or remember Epstein committing suicide before he could testify?

At this point, Ukraine is infinitely more corrupt than Russia. So if you do visit Ukraine and then need to get out, police are for sale like never before. But price is high, because all the other Ukrainian men are also trying to get out. So bring lots of dollars when you visit.

Unfortunately too bad that their "words" against Putin won't stop the Russian FAB-1500 bombs gliding down on them and not to mention Russian missiles and artillery strikes.

It's their own leader Zelensky, NATO and America who has failed them. They were the ones who provoked the Russian bear and getting the innocent Ukrainian civilians mauled by the angry bear. Ukrainians should overthrow their own corrupt and incompetent government instead of being a fodder for Russian firepower.

The first two videos are not about Ukrainians but Russians - and it was Russia, which invaded Ukraine and not Ukraine invading Russia...

However Ukrainians are now frequently fighting back, not only defending their own territory, but entering nearby areas of Russia and causing damages.

Ukraine knocks out Russian refinery in major attack

MOSCOW (Reuters) -Ukraine pounded targets in Russia on Tuesday with dozens of drones and rockets in an attack that inflicted serious damage on a major oil refinery and sought to pierce the land borders of the world's biggest nuclear power with armed proxies.

Russia and Ukraine have both used drones to strike critical infrastructure, military installations and troop concentrations in their more than two-year war, with Kyiv hitting Russian refineries and energy facilities in recent months.

-----

Russian officials reported attacks on energy facilities, including a fire at Lukoil's NORSI refinery and a drone destroyed on the outskirts of the town of Kirishi, home to Russia's second-largest oil refinery.

-----

Industry sources told Reuters on condition of anonymity that the main crude distillation unit (AVT-6) at NORSI was damaged in the attack, which means that at least half of the refinery's production is halted. Lukoil declined to comment.

NORSI refines about 15.8 million tonnes of Russian crude a year, or 5.8% of total refined crude, according to industry sources.

It also refines about 4.9 million tonnes of gasoline, 11% of Russia's total, 6.4% of diesel fuel, 5.6% of fuel oil and 7.4% of the country's aviation fuel, according to industry sources.

HITTING RUSSIAN ENERGY

Striking Russian oil facilities is a problem for President Vladimir Putin as he faces off against the West over Ukraine, with domestic gasoline prices sensitive ahead of a March 15-17 presidential election.

Russia imposed a six-month ban on gasoline exports on March 1.
To attack Ukraine was a very bad miscalculation by Putin. He expected the Ukrainian government to be removed within 3 days and to be in control of wide areas of the Ukraine within a few weeks - but it's now more than 2 years and Ukraine is still fighting back and tries to stop the invasion.

Ukraine was very successful to remove Russian warships (so-called special underwater military operation) and the port of Odesa is open again for trading ships.

Ukraine is planning to launch the first container ships from Greater Odesa ports soon, which has not been possible until now for security reasons

As of February 23, the ports of Great Odesa were waiting for 111 more ships
For almost 7 months of the Ukrainian sea corridor’s operation (since August 2023), 854 vessels have exported 26 million tons of cargo from the ports of Greater Odesa to 42 countries. This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine.

More than 18 million tons of these volumes are products of Ukrainian farmers.

As of February 23, the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi were expecting 111 more vessels to arrive, which will export 3.3 million tons of cargo after loading.

I am sorry, I didn't know the first two videos were Russians talking about the war. My bad.

Yeah.. Putin have miscalculated big as he thought the Ukrainians would surrender in three days.. The war is still ongoing.

However the recent Ukrainian elite battalions raid on Russian border has ended in failure as they were destroyed by Russian artillery and drone strikes.

Not all is working out as expected in a war and politics/war is always a dirty business.

We will see the situation within a few years how it will develop. It is too early now to predict anything.

Wars can go on over many years, Russia cannot be bankrupt within 2 years solely because of a war-area which is rather small if you consider how large Russia really is...
As Ukraine receives a lot of support from outside, Russia might become, however slowly, economically and militarily seen, significantly poorer than it was before the war.
Ukraine will end up with wide destruction in many parts of the country, with entire cities destroyed...

NATO will continue to support the war, and as long as the Russian military is still within the borders of Ukraine, there will be no peace.

Все понятно. Ты просто ебаный кремлебот. Идешь нахуй вместе со своим лилипутом царем. Хуй за щеку тебе, а не порт в Одессе.
Please calm down!

Some people here with this forum have absolutely no idea, no knowldege about the life of ordinary people especially in so-called satellit-states under Communist Russian rule.

Interesting however to observe that these Putin-fans do not live in Russia with a US$ 100,- as budget for one month and prefer to continue to 'suffer' in USA - UK and other Nazi and Jews infested countries....

Communist Russian control - this means a terrible life on a day to day basis, in poverty, fear - full of injustice.

Nobody who suffered under Russian WWII postwar occupation wants to have anything to do with Russia anymore.

This is of course true with Ukraine too - they want the Russians - all of them - to be gone, out of their country and I cannot blame them for that.

I am confident, with some support from Western countries, Ukraine will be able to survive this challenge.

The Russian dream to create a 'Russian Union' from Portugal to Alaska ist nothing but sick fantasy, arrogance, megalomania....

So much for your victory in Ukraine. Russian soldiers will be slaughtered. They don't even want to go. Many of them surrender quickly when caught. Others are blown away for being foreign invaders on the territory of Ukraine.

You lose!

Here is the "I Want To Live" project. You can quickly surrender here: https://hochuzhit.com/

Sweden moves to fortify strategic island after Russian TV reveals it is a prime target for Putin now the nation has joined NATO
Gotland offers huge advantages in the control of air and sea traffic in Baltic Sea
Swedish PM said reinforcing Gotland is a top priority in discussions with NATO

Sweden has declared it will discuss with NATO leaders plans to ramp up militarisation of the island of Gotland, a thousand square mile spit of land that is widely seen as the most strategic location in the Baltic Sea.

Described by analysts and commentators as a 'giant aircraft carrier', Stockholm-administered Gotland lies just 120 miles off the coast of NATO's Baltic triad of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, but also just 230 miles north of the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.

Its prime location offers huge advantages in the deployment and control of air and sea traffic in the Baltic Sea, and has been referenced regularly by military analysts and commentators in Russian media as a highly desirable target.
