The gunman who tried to assassinate Donald Trump has been identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, according to some news reports.
The 20-year-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, fired at least eight shots at the former president from a roof 130 yards away from the rally stage.
No other details are out so far, no pictures of him, nothing mentioned about his race.

As for why he was shot, it's obvious: he was a threat to the status quo, a figure too bold and unyielding for the fragile sensibilities of those who cling to outdated values. He does have a bit of Asiatic features - probably from Native American genetic stock (like most predominantly White Americans) - so I could see why the initial report had him as being a Chinaman, especially with him having his death-mask on and eyelids shut.

Trump was looking at a chart at the time. The bullet was aimed at his head but at the same time the bullet was shot Trump tilted his head to look at the chart. If he hadn't of tilted his head it would have been a direct hit. That kind of timing can't be planned. We are talking about microseconds. The bullet was meant to kill him.

If someone really does try to kill Trump it's because he did something to piss off his handlers. That's why JFK got shot in the head,

In Trumps case, they simply found some mentally retarded looking guy with long hair off twitter, and told him to make it look good enough but try not to actually hit and kill him if possible.
