How come the black guy always dies first in movies?

I just saw the new "X Men First Class" movie and noticed that the first prodigy mutant team member to get killed was the black guy... again. He was overloaded with energy shot into him from the villain (played by Kevin Bacon) and exploded.

I heard from black comedians that the black guy in a movie is usually one of the first to die. This seems to be true. When there is a group of people that gets killed off, the black person usually gets killed first. I've noticed this in a ton of movies.

Why is that? What is the purpose behind this? To make black people feel more expendable? Or cause directors want to get rid of them first for some reason?

I have noticed the trend only periodically, but I surmise that the black guy gets killed first followed by some white guys or a female. That way, it is seen as a lead up to the climax.

To kill the actors close to the core of the story is to climax too quickly.

I also notice that men get killed before women in movies usually. The same principle is at play.

In the 70s and 80s flicks, YES - Black American men were the first to be whacked off.

But nowadays, not that often.

No. I've noticed it in modern movies and movies of the 90's too. The recent "X Men First Class" movie is an example.

So what is the logic and rationale behind frequently killing off the black guy first?
