What are your favorite alcoholic drinks?

Post by Jackal »

My favorite kind of beer is a Russian-style imperial stout. This is a dark beer which brewed strong, since it used to have to endure the long journey from England to Moscow. I think you can find it in bars in major cities in the US and Canada.

My favorite hard liquor is Tanqueray Gin either in a gin and tonic or a martini.

I like a dirty Martini or dry martini with Bombay Saphire (Tanqueray is good too). For beer, I like a dark Czech beer, Krusovice or even the one from Trader Joe's is good. I don't care much for the light beers. My favorite wine would probably be Pinot Noir, but I also like to try others ... we tried a really excellent 2003 German desert wine called Kerner Eiswen.

Recently, I tried a Brandy Alexander, and it was pretty good, but really sweet and maybe better for winter. This other drink I tried, called a purple hooter, and it was very good. I tried a Zombie not too long ago ... whoa!!! A bit too much for me LOL!

What's in a purple hooter? Blue Curacao, vermouth, and silicone? Lol.

I once read about expats in China having shots called "blowjobs." I think they had cream on top or something and people were supposed to pick up the shot glass with their mouths. Lol. Not for me. If they make a shot called "poontang", I'll drink that. :)

A purple hooter has Vodka, Rose's sweetened lime juice, and Chambord raspberry liqueur. It's very refreshing and nice.

The "blow-job" drink is pretty good, but I understand why a guy probably would not be comfortable drinking that. You may want to try the "buttery nipple" instead. LOL

Yeah, but since being married I've settled down more, but we still love adventure and trying new things. We also are bartenders on the side, by the way. Hence, I know quite a few drinks. LOL!
