A Generation Hobbled by the Soaring Cost of College

"ADA, Ohio — Kelsey Griffith graduates on Sunday from Ohio Northern University. To start paying off her $120,000 in student debt, she is already working two restaurant jobs and will soon give up her apartment here to live with her parents. Her mother, who co-signed on the loans, is taking out a life insurance policy on her daughter.

“If anything ever happened, God forbid, that is my debt also,â€￾ said Ms. Griffith’s mother, Marlene Griffith.

Ms. Griffith, 23, wouldn’t seem a perfect financial fit for a college that costs nearly $50,000 a year. Her father, a paramedic, and mother, a preschool teacher, have modest incomes, and she has four sisters. But when she visited Ohio Northern, she was won over by faculty and admissions staff members who urge students to pursue their dreams rather than obsess on the sticker price.

“As an 18-year-old, it sounded like a good fit to me, and the school really sold it,â€￾ said Ms. Griffith, a marketing major. “I knew a private school would cost a lot of money. But when I graduate, I’m going to owe like $900 a month. No one told me that.â€￾"

^ All the more reasons to avoid American girls. They are deeply in debt! In fact, I just met a woman who has a daughter that is 60k in debt from going to art school.

I think it is hysterical that these stupid women were sold "degrees" in totally useless subjects like "womens studies" and humanities and the arts and took out student loans based on the lies that the jobs would be there in the future. Just hysterical.

Now these women and manginas who took all those stupid useless courses are going to be squeezed VERY hard as the economies of the west shrink to get rid of all the excess consumerism.

This is why in my chapter on recommendations to young men I make it clear to find work in an area that will still be around after a massive economic shake out.

When I left school I won the national university scholarship for physics. Even then I turned it down. I had started a job in software development and I could see that there was a future in software development...even in 1982....by 1982 it was clear to me there were too many people in "physics" and that I stood a better chance of a long term career in software development...so I stuck at it. And it has been good to me.

The idea someone can get USD120,000 in debt over EDUCATION is INSANE. I came out of my degree with about aud2,000 in the bank and NO DEBT. It was just enough to move me to sydney to start my job at IBM....I owned my little car and motorbike outright and still had a few grand in the bank...the ONLY debt I ever signed up for was a mortgage. I never took out another loan. Credit cards only became necessary when I had a mortgage and small children to make ends meet...and wifey spent money like water on those things.

Women have NO IDEA how to manage money in the west...which is why it is "domestic violence" if you try to stop them spending money you dont have on things you dont need.

Whaaa, whaaa....no one told me I had to pay back the loan with interest...it must be SOMEONE ELSES FAULT...after all I cant possibly be held accountable for contracts I signed.....

But I am equal and empowered and if you say otherwise you are a woman hater....

Western Women wonder why I want nothing to do with them?

My fav#1, at 38, is doing night school in advanced german to improve her german and improve her prospects. She is the kind of woman who will go through the menu to look for the lower priced meals even when I am paying. She turns her money over three or four times before she spends it. This is quite typical behaviour for EEW. They appreciate someone has to work for money and that they are not "entitled" to education or free money.

When I paid for a necklace for her that cost about EUR350 it was the single most expensive piece of jewelry she has ever owned in her life. And it really is a nice piece. I bought it as a thank you in expectation that we would split before her next birthday which turned out to be the case.

How many expensive pieces of jewelry or other useless things does the average western woman own? LOTS...no matter HOW POOR they are...the average western woman will waste some guys money like water.
