US & Russia to Ease Visa Restrictions
Not much info to be found on this yet, but the word should be spread far and wide for those that are interested in Russia and Russian ladies. Russian bride airlift, anyone?

Russia: Visa Restrictions Eased
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
President Vladimir V. Putin has signed the ratification of an agreement with the United States that substantially eases visa restrictions for both countries’ citizens. The agreement allows Russians and Americans to get three-year multiple-entry visas under which they can stay for up to six consecutive months. It also eliminates Russia’s requirement that visitors get a letter of invitation, although tourists will still need to show advance accommodation bookings. Although Mr. Putin’s signing was announced Monday, the new measures will not go into effect until after both countries exchange notes certifying that preparations for the changes have been completed.

oh man, I'd love more info on this. Can't seem to find anything besides the article. I wonder what's going on on the U.S. side to put this into effect? I'm supposed to travel to Russia in September, don't have a visa yet. It'd be nice to get the three year multi entry so I'd be set for awhile.
Kazhdy odinokovy po svoemu...
WOW...This is great news for me. Because i have plans too be in europe for awhile. i hope this goes through. i can be a perpetual traveler and never have to come back to the states. which also means i won't need a citizenship just visa entry. all i have to do is go into another country and come back to russia often.
Ukraine does not require any visa at all for a three month stay. and you can stay in the East and South- the language is Russian, about half the people are ethnically Russian and look Russian and you will feel you are in Russia . Kind of like in Singapore where you feel you are in China ( while you are not).
A brain is a terrible thing to wash!

My thoughts exactly. I hope it's just inertia as both sides continue a long-term master plan to create a worldwide White-dominated criminal-oligarch-business cartel - and nothing more sinister than that.gredman wrote:oh man, I'd love more info on this. Worst case would be that the Russkis sell Assad out, abandon Syria to the Anglo-Zionists, and in return we agree to accept 100,000 more "Former-Soviet" thugster-inwestors in track suits and medallions and pointed shoes.
Sounds great, but I suspect it's gonna be like Ukraine and the "Schengen Zone", not visa run with immediate re-entry. We'll see.gredman wrote: I'm supposed to travel to Russia in September, don't have a visa yet. It'd be nice to get the three year multi entry so I'd be set for awhile.
