I wish I could link to it, but I can't since I am on a tablet. But anyways, it was mentioning how some expat were leaving China, along with natives who are rich. Now my question is that, is this the time to be contrarian about China? Or are there structural flaws? In other words, is the slowdown more motivated by core structural problems, or more by business cycle?

The slowdown is global in nature. When you have a business slowdown, the structural flaws become more noticeable. China is a huge country, though. There will still be opportunities there, depending on what you offer and want.

I guess what I should have asked is China a speculative boom, or a sustained economic force?

Interesting video. What do you think about consultancy related business if I have a business major such as econ? Just throwing it out there. I think eventually there will be value in property, but as of right now, the value is in manufacturing.
