Is America breeding Super-Men?
Keeping in mind, somoene's height doesn't actually mean they are physically capable (or even sturdy). Sometimes people have fragile bones, regardless of how long they are. The good-looking thing can very well be from plastic surgery & all kinds of style products.
I wouldn't say "super men" is a good term. Americans tend to have a massive amount of ailments or they get told they are falling apart & believe whoever said it. They also don't tend to have high personal capabilities- it's always "get someone else to do it." There's also a bizarre trend to crush themselves with whatever abilities they do have, too- various diets & workouts are destructive to the body, they hit the gas & the brakes at the same time with relationships, the money gets spent on nonsense or things that further erode the culture & the country, the technology does everything for people- so there's less personal involvement in things (I'd imagine that contributes to depression, at the very least).
On & on, the "trigger puller" is incompetant & seeks to arbitrarily redifine "competant" so they're never outside that category. This is a pretty serious point in combative things, as well. Structures shouldn't replace skills, since now the guy "pushing the button" is unskilled. Imagine if someone has a powerful gun, but is a horrible shot. Maybe there's additional ramifications, besides whatever happens if the shot is missed- like if there's bystanders around. There's a similar thing where someone will act like everything is "life & death," even when it's not. This guy will get killed when it actually IS serious, because he doesn't size things up accurately.

... No. Most whom you call sociopaths actually turn out to be quite attractive physically.Taco wrote:Sociopathic personality beats out superior physical appearance in most western countries.
Sure, Chris Brown can be considered a sociopath, but let's not forget he's very handsome, which is why he's so popular. And sure, Joran Van Der Sloot (the convicted Dutch felon accused of killing 2 American girls in the Caribbean) is a violent deviant, but he's a 6'5 guy who looks like this:

The result is that women are writing him even in prison begging him to impregnate them. He's a sociopath, but also an attractive, handsome man.
Flat out wrong. American men are considered some of the most handsome, suave, and "skilled in dating" of all men. This thread is stupid. Western dystopias are breeding the scum of the Earth.

"The AmerÂiÂcans, it must be said, have perÂfected the art of datÂing. Not only did we invent the pick-up line, the three bases, and the diaÂmond engageÂment ring, we even introÂduced the fine traÂdiÂtion of proms and school dances so as to develop one’s skills beginÂning in midÂdle school onwards. We have it so much down to a sciÂence in fact, that we even offer the conÂveÂnience of speed dating."
Don't fall for this BS. The DailyMail is a conservative, right-wing rag with a vested interest in writing articles that reassure men, and shame women for not marrying and having kids. It's a fringe paper that doesn't really reflect any Western society. Here's a western woman's perspective on growing older: why it's hell to be 48, alone and desperate
I've personally tried contacting many older American women including 40+ on dating sites, and can report that the ones that are even remotely attractive continue to have a lot of options well into their older years. This is a function of the fact that the singles sex ratio doesn't decline as fast as it used to. We don't have any wars now and today's medicine has reduced male mortality, so even in middle age, women continue to have good options.
Because these handsome, intelligent men are also very corrupt men. An intelligent, corrupt man is much more dangerous and harmful to society than an unintelligent, corrupt man. In order to for America to be put on the right path, we need an man that is NOT corrupt. He doesn't even need to be that "intelligent", he just needs to be willing to do the right thing. Unfortunately, it's not likely to happen...nicho12 wrote:so why is America getting f***ed up with all these intelligent men aroundSomeone wrote:^ No, you're mixing up attractive men with commitment-phobic men. That's not the same group. There are plenty of attractive/tall men who are family-oriented and prefer to get married and have kids.
For example, Mitt Romney is a handsome man who is family-oriented; he's got 5 kids. Of course, his wife is very attractive -- he didn't marry an ugly woman, naturally -- but he definitely got married, and believes in the institution of marriage. Barack Obama is a 6'2 athlete with stellar looks, and yet dotes on his daughters and worships his wife. Not everyone is a 'player'. But the point is, these attractive men are reproducing (in the regular marriage context), and the less-attractive ones are not.
I don't think that Joran Van Der Sloot is very attractive at all. He's reasonably fit and he's tall...that's about it. Women are likely attracted to the sociopath because they are mentally/emotionally unstable (speaking of the women although BOTH are obviously mentally unstable). Women most often choose to be with terrible men (which we've gone over in many threads). "There's just something about him" is the common response if asked WHY they are with these men. They can't really give a solid, legitimate, specific response to that question in many cases.
I don't think that American men are particularly special in the dating world. When they go abroad, they MIGHT have some advantages or disadvantages, depending on the country. The same goes for other countries though. I've seen British, Australian and Italian men clean up in the USA when it comes to women. American women love the accents, just like Australian, British and Italian women might like the American accent. People like what is rare or special and an American man in America is not either...
