Getting married but leaving her in Africa

Is it wise to get married and leave your spouse in a foreign country like africa? I really do love my wive to be but i fear bringer her to the west. simply i don't want her to become americanized.

couldn't she just go to the embassy and apply herself to get a visa and come here? or is visa and citizenship not automatic?

I think it will take a lot of time and money for her to get a visa, assuming she's not from a Visa-free country. I don't think you will have any trouble from the Govt if you do it.
