I don't know Winston, I use to meet a lot of people like this back in my 20s, and most of them have bad mental health problems, even worse than mine. Others are drug users, some are also thieves because I met one I tried to actually help and I caught her stealing. I'm not saying they are all bad people, but I don't know if I could trust one of them unless I knew a lot more about their situation, whether or not they use drugs, how they ended up on the street to begin with, and so on. I wouldn't mind helping out someone like her or even falling for her but it's hard in a country like this...VERY hard..I hate how people don't even value let alone respect, honor love at all in the Western world, including countries adopting Western principals of this current generation. I've done some desperate things in my life when I wanted a woman...But this is America...a country where even a homeless girl would probably be a challenge to keep from betraying you.

I don't think 'wow' about this girl when I watch the interview. She's reasonably okay looking, except for the tats, maybe a bit cute. But the kind of girl who would follow a boyfriend around protesting against the police, and doing so helped her get over some substance abuse issues? If I were single and looking, I'd be concerned a girl like this might bring some destructive patterns into a relationship, along with political views that do not align with my own.

I realized when I was young if a woman was attractive, but her life was messed up, she could go into the 'needs help' category, not the 'potential date' category. My brother and I and a bunch of other people met this young woman one night. She started talking about her problems, and even though she was gorgeous, I realized she went into the 'needs help' category. But my brother started dating her and was in for loads of heartache. She wasn't homeless, but she had other issues.

Hopping freight trains? I have a friend, a husband of one of my wife's friends, who came and stayed with use for a few days who also helped my wife a bit while she was traveling with his wife. He was saying some decades back-- I'm thinking 70's and 80's, he would hop freight trains. After a while, he learned the routes. I also think of this as something from the past-- what hobos did back in the 1930's. He said immigration came and busted a bunch of Mexicans who were in a car with him, and left him alone. After a while, he learned where to get off, where the rides were, etc. Some of the employees may have known it was going on and ignored it.

It's stealing a ride actually.

This is an very interesting thread Winston, I have wonder about very similar topics yet this is the first time hearing someone else talk about this. However, let's move it worldview view.

America: In America, it wouldn't work. If you get involve with her she can accuse you of a "false" abuse and get take half your money, so she won't be "homeless" anymore.

Worldwide: This is very interesting and without American "rigidity" I wonder if you can be a "Patron" or "Sugar Daddy" type for young women with few means around the world maybe like Eastern Europe. Were you kinda feed her and let her live at your place. Where you guys have a "relationship" and you help her achieve some sort of success. That'll be a very interesting experience.

I wouldn't touch that homeless woman with a ten ft pole. She might be a crazy crack ho in the end. She is presenting a benign face for the camera to make the audience more sympathetic towards her. I wouldn't trust any homeless people on the streets.

I've seen homeless people standing around with large cans of malt liquor. Some of them smell like a bottle of liquor, too. It really does depend on their situation.

But if you guys are thinking of picking up a homeless woman as a girlfriend and letting her live with you, be prepared that you might be letting a drug addict live with you. Some drug addicts steal, misuse funds, etc. It is good to let a homeless person stay with you... not to have sex with said individual.... but out of the kindness of your heart.

If they live on the street, they learn to discard food they don't eat right away, so you buy a pot roast and you all eat it for dinner, and you let them clean up, and they might throw the rest in the trash can out of habit. They have to learn or relearn using the refrigerator.

It's nice to try to help homeless women. However, if she acts like she doesn't wanna change or improve then it's a hopeless cause. Especially if she looks like she has no shame or guilt about her situation. Then you know she's soulless and perhaps an NPC. A true soul has feelings and feels remorse and guilt. You can feel their pain. But some of them are like empty shells and feel nothing and don't care about consequences. It's as if they wouldn't care if you dropped dead in front of them. Those types are beyond help. They are not willing to do anything to improve themselves either. Haven't you met the type I'm talking about? No all homeless or poor people are good people with hearts of gold or innocent angels with bad luck. Every person has their own karma and most poor people I've met are not good people inside but very opportunistic and wouldn't hesitate to betray you if it profitted them.
