I asked a friend of mine who works in Taiwan/Beijing/Shanghai (he travels a lot) to keep an eye open for US-China traveling jobs for me.
He said that there is currently high demand for experienced petro engineers willing to work on contract basis, with "almost European pay rate". I'm not sure exactly what that means, but in the US, petro engineers get paid $60k to $200k/year depending on experience and position.
If anyone is interested or know anyone who is, feel free to PM me with resume. I can forward to my friend's head hunter in China.
And in case if anyone is wondering why I get these job posts, I'm quitting my job in 2 weeks and am back in the job market.
