Most major food suppliers succumb to a form of extortion whereby they pay to have their products certified as kosher by nefarious hand-rubbing Jews. This is only of actual interest to Orthodox Jews, i.e. about 0.2% of the population, but the Jews get to use the money extorted for their nefarious hand-rubbing purposes.
