G4T is a youtuber that I'm subscribed to--and in his latest videos--he downplays the idea of moving to Mexico after vacationing there with his family and checking out the real estate in several cities there. He concluded that it was a hopeless endeavor to escape to another country to get away from the United States. I've also seen several videos of expats trashing Mexico as a place to live and travel. What I don't understand, why is there such a split between those that love Mexico and those that hate the place? It seems opinions are very mixed about the place. And on HA, there are so many pro-Mexico posters that live and travel there--what's the real story of the country?
