A customer complaint

Post by fschmidt »

Here is a customer complaint I just got for Nabble (my forum service):

-------------------------------------------------
I'm writing to complain about an advertisement that is offensive and abusive towards women. It advertises Ukrainian women for marriage. How can I take my complaint further so that I'm sure this issue gets the attention it deserves?

Thank you,
XXXXXXXXXXXX
-------------------------------------------------

How should I respond? (Actually I just won't respond.)

Hi XXX,

Your complaint has been taken further so that this issue gets attention. But this is unfortunately not the first complaint we've heard of Ukrainian women being offensive or abusive towards other women. From past incidents with this advertiser we've learned that Ukrainian women are just not accustomed to marrying other women. What we've been told is that lesbians aren't common in Ukraine so they're expecting men for marriage, not women. Of course women should be allowed to marry women too. We are after all living in 2016 and we should support the LGBT community. That being said, we have a zero tolerance policy for spousal abuse between two married women. If you can document the abuse you received we will attempt to get you a refund.

Take care,

If you had the time to waste, baiting her with questions about what the hell she was on about would be good.

My guess is that the person that complained was an American woman who looked like this:

"When I think about the idea of getting involved with an American woman, I don't know if I should laugh .............. or vomit!"

"Trying to meet women in America is like trying to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics."

Now that's gold, u could cause your forum to go viral with that one. John rockefeller once said every disaster known to him was an opportunity, now I don't like that man but success is success.
