We walk in a minefield daily.

Cellphone violations leading to DUI and car confiscation, and misdemeanor.

Marital arguments leading to a felony.

Taillight out leading to DUI.

Unconstitutional searches like this one (above) leading to a weapons charge.

Laws that cannot possibly be obeyed, like locking up home-defense guns in a safe.

Travel rights could be curtailed if in court proceedings or on probation. Or if fines are unpaid.

Plus, all misdemeanors and felonies will come up on FBI report when applying for foreign residency. Hence hard to get residency abroad.

Creeping police state. I know I COULD stay here in the States, and tough it out. But if I DID, I wouldn't ever know FOR SURE that I would then be able to leave and get established legally in a new country.

They could f**k it up for me at any point.
