American Challenge part 1: Mothers

So as I was talking about hb to my friends and husband and how I thought there was still hope in America, everyone at the table, even my husband began to laugh.
So, I was issued a challenge to research and observe to find good. My friends think I'm oblivious to everything for these reasons. 1.) All my friends are foreigners. 2.) I get my clothes online. 3.) I act like a European. 4.) I actually listen to my elders.

So my first Challenge: MOTHER
As I started my research I was surprised at how many bad news posts there were on mothers. So many drug related incidents even while pregnant.
Discouraged, I decided to watch other moms in the park and I realized I was the only one playing with my child and not texting on a phone. I couldn't believe it.
I mean I have met really great mothers, like my neighbor who raises her three autistic kids who are her life, or my aunt who adopted and raised five. I thought with the people I hang around that there were lots of mothers who's kids were their lives, but I was wrong.
I even went to a playgroup and all the moms did was gossip. Did you hear so and so slept with the neighbor?
Everyone ignored their children to gossip. I realized caring moms are the minority in America. My children are my lives. AW if you read this, your children are your lives. You don't matter anymore. I want to be the perfect mom for my kids. I mean they are the future. They pass on the family name. Depending on how your child is raised affects their future.
Now, as a currently pregnant woman I actually cried in a restaurant with my husband as I saw anot her pregnant lady light up a cigarette. Believe it or not, pregnancy affects your child as well. Lighting up cigarettes or even second hand smoke can cause health problems and low birth rates.
There as bare even foods you must avoid like aged cheese, deli meats. However, a lot of pregnant women don't avoid those. And I've seen some down one coke after another. Caffeine in moderation while pregnant, I thought that was common sense.
Dear AW, you want to know why so many people hate us. It's because of cold heartless b●●●●s like you.
I could never understand how someone could care so little for their child. I love my child and dream about the one about to come. I picture my child in my stomach being born and having my husband's black hair and brown eyes. I spend time teaching my 16 month old words and playing with him, yet I see stay at home moms leave their kids in daycare.
You're a stay at home mom, what the heck do you need day care for? To clean house, watch t.v. , and sip your cheap wine. You want me to tell you what a stay at home MOM's job is. Take care of your kids, clean the house, cook lunch, dinner, and walk the dog. It's not rocket science.
And let me tell you something why a majority of you American moms are twiddling your thumbs, I will raise my son. These moments you can't take back. And if You r child doesn't run to you for everything, for comfort, when your home with him/her there is science men dome thing wrong with that.
