I did it this time. I was offered an interview by PBS NY because of my fb page on legalizing prostitution in my state. I hope it goes well and we shall see how this plays out.

Good job zacb. Prostitution should of been legalized in America 200 years ago. It's legal in almost every country in the world. I hope I live to see the day where it will become legal in America.

Out of curiosity, do you live in the state of New York zacb?

I in fact do not. I believe one of the reasons I am being interviewed is I am one of the only state centric pages on Facebook. I also plan on working on dr. assisted suicide, which hopefully if I get enough support, can get on the ballot. The prostitution page is about starting the conversation. People joke that if senators voted for this their wives would slap them. Well i hope to put an end to it. It is the next frontier in civil freedom, and in my opinion, the next "drug war". I plan on running for office, but barring getting elected, I have back up plans.

Spoke too soon. I am actually going to be speaking nationally on the NewsHour on PBS. God I just thought this page would support the cause, not get me on tv XD .

Great zacb. Maybe during your interview you can mention happier abroad and that other countries are more sane and tolerant of the prostitution issue. Also mention that countries with legalized prostitution have less violent crime overall because men are allowed to satisfy their urges.

Let us know when your going to be interviewed on PBS so we can watch it zacb. Congratulations, I am glad someone is speaking out in favor of legalizing prostitution.

One of the key points I want to make besides STDs, libertarian view on government and the like, etc. is that some people are not meant for relationships, so why would you deprive them of their needs? Should a disabled person not be able to have sex because someone disagrees with him paying for it? Further I want to focus on Germany's laws and how I think the US can improve in my opinion. We need a legal market. Further, I want to point out that the Catholic Church allowed it because it relieved societal tension. Thus why it should be legal. I am revved up and kind of curious on what path this will take me.

Excellent, Zachb. You should also talk about how legalizing it would relieve some of our overcrowded jails, and how it would help America's criminal justice system by allowing cops to focus on real crimes, not b.s. ones like prostitution or someone smoking marijuana.

Also, think about all the tax money the US government would be getting if it legalized p4p. The national debt could be paid off in no time!

Unfortunately I did not get interviewed. But depending on my election I may be either changing the system one bit at a time, or may just leave and say f**k it. Who knows how it will go.
