A Little Bit of Criticism For This Forum

They will stay in the USA or where ever and keep banging their head up against the wall hoping things will change. Every guy is a king, and it's very easy to have a super hot girlfriend, wife, whatever you want. It's called a f***ing plane ticket to where the normal people are...

I'm beginning to wonder about this as well.

I've met some guys in real life that have a ton of experience overseas. They seem to give better advice than the vast majority of posters here (not including Pete, Dave, Outwest, and a few others).

Also, the guys that I know that have done well overseas also had no trouble getting girls in the US (unlike most posters here). Interesting contrast.

When I first joined HA, I noticed that the posts were very insightful because they came from intelligent people that HAVE actually been abroad. However, nowadays I am beginning to notice more trolls and total idiots that just RANT all day while hardly doing anything to actually realize their dream of going abroad and dating foreign women.

If this were really HA, why all the negativity? I am wondering HOW many people on this forum have actually succeeded, because I'd say over 60-70% actually DON'T want to leave the Anglo world and would rather sit in front of the computer and whine all day. Winston has mentioned very clearly that the purpose of this forum is to promote GLOBAL DATING, but I see so many pickup artist types that only care about getting laid and still have the Western mentality when it comes to dating.

How about actually trying to be serious and getting a decent woman instead of just releasing sexual frustration? Pick that, and a lot of you here would have already found real love.


I must say I have HARDLY gotten a piece of useful advice when I asked for it on this forum. At least that's the way it has been for my last 10-15 posts. Again, this is due to the increasing numbers of people joining our once great forum that are trolls/dicks and have no real desire to do anything related to HA.


This is just my short criticism for our forum. I still love it, and I hope our movement can grow to be greater than ever.

This is likely due to the fact that many posters here are mentally ill.

I was abroad, now I'm back home.

In the UK the best places to live are the worst places to earn an income. It's kind of a metaphor for the entire world really.

Although I'm currently job hunting in the UK's trendiest city. It'll be fun living there .

I think my plan of working for a year or two then spending a year abroad is a good one.

I really couldn't do that - work a year or two and then go overseas for a year and 12 short months later have to go back and work another year or two. I'd find re-entry back into the conventional workforce each time too stressful. My plan is to amass as much money as I can so I never have to return to work. I've hit some speed bumps but it's still my plan at this stage.

First, you gotta understand that not all questions here get answered, but most do. There are many threads with zero replies. Even a lot of my threads and questions get zero replies. You can't expect someone to answer every thread you start. Not everyone is interested in your questions you know. That's life. Stop being so self-centered.

But the point is, MOST threads do get responses. So it's not like everyone's questions aren't being answered. Trying asking more interesting questions or using more interesting thread titles to get more attention, if you want more replies.

Second, some of your questions are repetitive and have already been answered. Or they were answered in other threads long ago and people don't feel like repeating them. Try using the Google search box above to search for topics related to your questions.

Most of your basic questions about Chinese women have been addressed by Kai's guide to mainland Chinese women. Have you read it? Please read through it. It will answer most of your questions.

Anyone who thinks that must be really demented and out of touch with reality. It's not even worth my time to respond to such a stupid conspiracy theory. Debunking it would be like blowing up sheep with a bazooka. Too easy and not worth the effort.

Where would I get the time to create hundreds of forum accounts and post from them all at the same time? That's totally impossible. It would be hard work and time consuming for me to post from even ONE or TWO spoof account, so how would I be behind the majority of the hundreds of forum posters here? The laws of time and space would not allow for that.

Furthermore, what motive would I have? I do not waste time or engage in illogical activity. There is no pattern or record of me engaging in any kind of fraud. So there is no logical reason of suspecting me of this. Thus you have zero basis.

I am a person with a long standing reputation of credibility, honesty, integrity, accuracy, logic, and truth. A person like me would be the last person on Earth to impersonate tons of identities. So you have zero logic in assuming that I would do that. You can easily ask anyone who knows me. Many here know me in person.

If I were to say "Not a single person died during WWII" that would make about as much sense as what you and Grunt said.

Also, why would I need to create spoof accounts on here? There are many REAL people creating accounts and posting here. No need for me to post from many accounts. Totally illogical.

Finally, all the posters here have different writing styles. It is nearly impossible for one person to use different writing styles. Try it yourself and you will see what I mean. I can't even create two writing styles, let alone hundreds.

No one but the most deranged would think that the majority of posters here are me. It would be 100 percent impossible. You seriously need help.

I've always thought that Winston should create a two new forum categories.

The first would be called something like Marriage Minded/Advanced Planning. The intent of the new sub category is a place for those that are serious about finding a foreign bride can chat. The second would be the ABCs of Moving Abroad/Advanced Planning.

Let's face the facts. Very few guys on this forum are prepared to succeed at either of these. But there are a few who are well on their way but have no vehicle for discussion. Why not create a place where guys can come and talk IN A POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE and get advice? After all, wasn't this the reason Winston built the site in the first place?


Both categories would be for forum members who have made the decision to move forward and are serious about finding a wife or moving abroad.

These sub categories would not be places to discuss:

1. P4P
2. PUA
3. Negative issues of Western Women
4. Non marriage movement.

It would be a great way to break the negative cycle that tends to CRIPPLE this forum. It would also be a great way for Winston to promote and expand this web page. This place NEEDS a huge infusion of positivity. Why not attempt to draw in NEW guys that have an interest in pursuing these endeavors?

Sadly, I think this site draws in a lot of guys who have interest in this topic but my guess is that they don't stay because very little material actually addresses BEING HAPPIER ABROAD. Make sense?

I could create such categories. But what's wrong with talking about finding a wife in the "Love, Dating, Relationships" board?

And what about people who just want to date or find a girlfriend, and not a wife? Where would their board be?

How can you force positivity onto others? Do you suggest we just ban anyone who's not positive? That would be major censorship. We could not claim to stand for free speech after that. What criteria would we use? Do you have a feasible solution to this? Why can't you just put anyone who is too negative for you, on Ignore?

Some people are here to rant and seek validation for their feelings. You should respect that. No one is making you read their posts though.

To me, I just trynna improve my life and putting bullshit behind and start new south of the borders. Mexico or even further south such as Brazil...etc. That's my current consideration, after I get my shit together as I've got some set back going on towards the end of last year. It's less of a love or soul searching bullshit, but more for my general well being.

Dating and loving...well I put it like this, you know the opportunity for you has came when it's there. You don't need to try too hard or desperate. Just sit back, relax and talk to others and most importantly, observe so you know what you get yourself into, you'll know it when you got your score.

You beat me to it because I was about to post a thread about the same topic. This is why I've stopped posting in here as much. Happier Abroad is starting to feel like a depressing and negative forum. Me personally, I'm doing things on my own to create my happiness abroad. I've been traveling to different parts of Mexico, have a trip booked and set up for Ukraine in March. Every time I log on, all I see are people whining and crying about everything but yet most don't seem to plan or do anything about creating that happier abroad lifestyle for themselves...not to mention the childish name calling. This is supposed to be a forum for adults, not 3rd grade kids.

I understand that it's not easy for everyone due to their own personal circumstances, whether it be financial, personal, family, etc. But for those that are unhappy, don't try to bring the rest of the people down. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone...I'm just saying in general and I admit that I've been guilty of posting some negativity here and there...we all are. But we should try to be a little more positive about what can be waiting for us on the other side of the spectrum. Yes, America in general is a shithole, and yes Western women, especially American women are bottom of the barrel pieces of shit but this should give us enough reason to actually try to make some moves, at least some traveling. There is always a way if you actually sit down to plan it out. Come on guys, let's just be a little more supportive for each other and positive about everything.
