I agree that your scenario would be bizarre. I speak properly without slang. I don't use complex words that someone couldn't understand. I always talk at the level the other person can easily understand.

I wouldn't throw myself at a girl. I have code of honor but that doesn't mean I am entirely honorable and I'm not a pushover. I wouldn't tell her I have a lot of money because I don't want a gold-digger. I might want my ideal girl but I'm not desperate and I'm not desperate for any girl.

Why is you remaining a virgin "honorable", when in other aspects you are willing to be less then honorable if needs be?

Ultimately won't affect the way I act if I get the right girl. I want a girl that's mostly a Classic Princess but also the sweet version of the Mafia Princess trope. She shouldn't care how I get us the life we deserve or what business dealings I would be involved in as long as we have a great life and a happily ever after ending. I don't require a girl to be my life partner forever because the door will always be open if she wants to leave. All she would need to do is say the words. If she ever cheated then I would divorce her regardless of memories, time together, or how much I liked being with her.

I would want to support her and she shouldn't work unless its beside me. I wouldn't force her to remain a partner for life but I would make leaving very financially painful. She could leave but she would know that it has a severe consequence. Adulterous behaviors have the same severe consequence. There is only one king in chess but any pawn could become a new queen

Those were the dying days of my dad's generation where although you may inadvertently work with someone in organized crime, esp if your business is in *construction* or related fields, you didn't cross anyone's path and stayed on your side of the line while respecting the made men of the time period. Bystanders were seldom injured by mob strikes.

Today's up and coming Russian Mafia are some of the most notorious thugs out there, murdering entire families, out of spite and vendetta. These are some seriously hardened criminals, ex-KGB a/o Red Army types.

As for New England, is Tsar based out in northern Maine? Because he seems to be living in some Stephen King type of world of fantasy, disconnected from the rest of the region, where many ppl are somewhat practical and down to earth.

If you can't compromise, ever, then your ideal girl will always remain, well, ideal and never materialise. Marcos/Public, if you recall my gateway list: ages 13, 17, 24, 29+ ... the first gateway, age 13, is the point where the line between fantasy and reality gets solidified. Thus, Mafia princess (or any princess from any movie genre) is a first gateway issue.

You fellas are so hyperfocused on the 2nd and 3rd gateways that you're missing the obvious one. So while life isn't a linear procession, some of it is necessary to reach the other gates.

The OP is not ready for a trip outside of upstate Maine. If anything, he should cross the border at New Brunswick or Quebec and see a high end esc@rt in some Canadian town/city. The Mounties will protect him, as the RMCP are good at their jobs. Then, he'll realize that as you'd said, it's not a big deal, meaning the act of b*inking. Otherwise, this sort of fella is ripe for a South American kidnapping/extortion or an eastern European gang attack.

I totally agree with you S_Parc. Whether he bonks escorts there or not, he would gain some useful travel experience in Quebec, at the very least.

First of all, becoming a 'wise guy' is not like applying to be a cook at a diner. In other words, if you can make a steak & eggs really fast, you're hired!

These kids have been doing petty theft (or small deals), regularly, until they get a 'job' from let's say a Joe Pesci type, you know, the insider who's trying to get 'made'.

At the same time, they know how to befriend an enforcer, generally by splitting profits. You'll need some muscle, if you want to survive long term.

Seriously, it takes a lot for a quiet, shy kid, to star in his own "GoodFellas" movie.

And unlike the American Mafia, with their code of benevolence [ only whack the problem & any witnesses ], the eastern European ones kill the entire immediate family.

Actually, this thread has been a journey onto itself. Starting from loneliness/isolation, followed by a lot of bantering about change/no change, and now, the Russian mob and so forth.
