Should the forum allow gaslighting and flame wars?

I thought I would pitch this question to forum members. What's the consensus?

I think the forum should remain one of the very, very few outposts of free speech. That's its main virtue. Letting the wedge of censorship in inevitably leads to individual abuse of power.

Gaslighting is not free speech or anti-censorship. It's allowing peopile to lie and belittle you with mean things and false statements. What good is that? All it does is waste your time and make you correct all the lies about you. I did this recently with Rock and it was very time consuming. It's also immoral. I kept asking Rock if his parents ever taught him any basic morals, like right and wrong. He never replied. It seems to be in his blood to gaslight and belittle others, and sometimes he makes up LIES to do it, which pisses me off and wastes my time. But it's in his blood so he may not do it out of a conscious choice to do evil. A lot of guys are just assholes at heart, it's who they are. Some on this forum are too. They don't mind lying or twisting things to belittle others. I don't get why some men do that. It's illogical and immoral and inaccurate. It wastes everyone's time too.

How would you like it if I spread lies about you to make you look bad. And made you waste time correcting my lies one by one? Is that free speech? A healthy debate is not the same as a flame war or gaslighting. Dishonesty is immoral don't you agree?

There's nothing wrong with having an honest opinion. But lying to belittle others and bully them subtely isn't free speech or honesty. You see what I mean? A line has to be drawn somewhere. Would you like it if I bullied you and belittled you by twisting everything you say against you? Yet believe it or not, its in some men's blood to do that. I don't know why. I seem to attract toxic people like that, both offline and online.

I never do that Yick. Name one instance where I gaslighted anyone or spread lies.

Rock has been gaslighting me and others since 2009. You can see it in his posts. Its part of his personality. You can ask publicduende and Will N Dowd others that know him. I never lie Yick. I would never say something untrue.

For example, Rock claimed this site is not unique because Tim Ferris, author of "Four Hour Workweek" has the same message and solutions that we do. But that's not true. Anyone who looks at his stuff will see that he does not give the same message as we do here at all. Not even a little. He may suggest traveling for fun and living a location free life with portable income, like a digital nomad, but he never says you can have a better dating, social life and mental health by leaving America, or solving your problems in a friendlier country where women are more approachable and you have no more social anxiety, etc.

So yes, Rock technically lied just to try to put me down and say that this website is commonplace and the same as a thousand other sites and that 1000 websites have the same message we do, yet he cannot even name one. That's as obvious of a lie as it can get. Everyone knows that's a lie. It's the same as saying 2+2=10.

Notice how I never lie about others to put them down. Because I'm not a bully or gaslighter deep down. I have virtue and integrity.

Also keep in mind everyone that we are here to UPLIFT people and bring out the best in people and give people HOPE. Gaslighting is the exact opposite of that. It tries to bring peoiple down, and often with dishonest statements or spinning and twisting things. It's one thing to use true statements to criticize someone, but making up lies is plain wrong.

In fact, gaslighting people and bringing them down with LIES, is in a way worse than what Mark Davis and Joel Osteen does. At least those leaders, fake as they may be, use lies to UPLIFT people, whereas gaslighters use lies to BELITTLE people. So in a sense, gaslighters are worse than fake Americans, if you think about it. So it's a really bad thing. Even con men will at least try to uplift you. So gaslighters are the WORST. That's why I can't stand them.
