Indonesian women ?

Post by Kapinga626 »

Just found a dating site that features a lot of Indonesian women . Many of them are straight away beautiful !
I never really thought about this country as a possible vacation spot . Most of the profiles I've read are from Islamic women .

Do Islamic women participate in pre marital romping , or do they stay virginal until marriage ?
Are there any members here who have travelled to Indonesia before ?
What's the dating scene like ?

I think I need to research this more , and any feedback would be appreciated .
" I rang'd the world , I cross'd the seas,
in hopes my restless breast to ease,
By pleasures yet unknown :

To all amusements I have run ,
that's found beneath the daily sun;
Till weary I have grown . "

- Samuel Patterson a poor , lowly sailor circa 1800's

I have been there and while it is not as good as the Philippines, it is still an easy place to find women. All ( as in all) guys who went there to work have local gf's and wives. One friend I knew who was from Serbia went to teach there and he had 3 gf's there and was rotating them.
Your main problem will be the language- you will have to learn Bahasa- not a hard language at all. Also, you will either have to find a Christian girl or convert to Islam if you want to marry there, as marriages between different religions are not allowed.
Also, keep in mind that marriage to an Indonesian woman does not entitle you to any privileges visa-wise, and Indonesia is a hard place to get long term visas to.

Great points Ladislav.

Indonesian women have almost never been mentioned on HA. Rock and I have posted a report of my experiences with a Javanese lady in Taipei. Hopefully this will help to fill in the gap. Feel free to ask any questions.

Many people believe that if you go to Indonesia you're going to have to get with a Muslim woman. I've been to Jakarta several times and Borneo once and many of the women I met and was with were Christian. All but a few of the women I was with spoke English. I've gone the P4P route as well as had a couple of regular women. Once, one of my Indonesian friends made a phone call and a short time later, a van pulled up with five women in it. I chose one and then van and four others took off. She was an eight and he paid her $100 and she was mine for the remainder of the evening.

I find Indonesian women a refreshing alternative, much like having a Sprite instead of Coke, or like Burmese women as opposed to Thai. Never had a bad experience with any of them.

Many years ago, my buddy and I were out in a club, the place was getting ready to close and we were getting ready to leave. We see a table with four women at it. We start talking to the women and two say they have to leave. One of the other women says she has a car and a driver, would we like to go back to our hotel and have an early morning meal. So we go back to eat and around five in the morning we go up to our rooms. We were all a bit smashed and tired so we fall asleep. When we woke, both of us were hungover and we had sex, but it was more obligatory than anything else. We were too hungover to really enjoy it.

As Ladislav stated, marriage doesn't entitle you to any privileges visa-wise and getting a long-term visa is difficult, much more so than in the PI, Thailand, or Cambodia. I have a friend who I rarely talk to now and he is married to an Indonesian. He makes quite a bit of money and that's the only way he's been able to get his visa, paying through the nose.

Some oil engineers in Indonesia had to pay $ 11000 for 10 year visas. They could afford it. Poor saps, otoh, kept going out of the country and renewing the visas. The retirement visas are mind-bogglingly difficult too. They want police reports from every country I spent more than 6 months in.

Yeah, right, like I'm going to fly to Oman to get one. Better just have a new passport with no foreign stamps in it.

If you are really dead set on getting one, you will, but the question is always - is it really worth getting into? You must be really enamored with the country, the people and the language to make it all worth your while.
